Roll for Impkin - Lucky 13
Welcome to the next installment of Roll for Impkin! This is where I combine my dice goblin-ness from DnD with my love of amigurumi to create impkins from Megan Lapps book Crochet Impkins. I use a d4, d6, d12, and d20 to roll for impkin.
If you're looking for Meghan Lapp's book - check out your local bookstores, Amazon, or maybe even your local library.

This is the third video where I create an impkin using rolls from my DnD dice. I use a d4, d6, d12, and d20. All impkins are created using patterns from Megan Lapp's book Crochet Impkins, which can be found on Amazon - link in comments. Thanks for watching!

Just dropping in to check on you.
I love this book! I’m curious, how did you get them to stand up?! Mine barely can sit up without it being propped against something!
Cute but not sure about the color combination ... the multi doesn't seem to compliment it well.
I think he may be cuter in person-my (20 yo) daughter loved him so much she swiped him right after I finished the video. But yes-not all the multi yarns work perfectly!
@kkontoleon1 thanks for not being upset -- I meant no insult. Maybe the colors didn't translate well on video. You have a unique way of Impkin-ing
@@HuskyMama1009 thank you!
I love the color combination!
oh my gosh could he be any cuter. i love this combo and if you dont mind i'm going to use this very one for my next impkin
You bet! I love how rolling gives me options I might not have thought of otherwise.
This is darling, am sorry but feel the multicolor you chose kinda overpowers the body instead of complimenting it. Am enjoying your channel & the way you create your Impkin World
I love him, so cute.. My favorite so far, thku for sharing ❤
I love using the variegated yarn for the hair/mane! It's great!
Ow my gosh! Its my favorite so far! Probably because I love green, but its also just so cute ❤
I love watching these videos! Would you happen to have the sheet available for download?
Here you go! drive.google.com/file/d/10K4XR8A7Iv1ptRz7jF22DXLwVZv9_cgV/view?usp=sharing I change up the last box on the page for additional options frequently, but the rest I leave the same. Enjoy making your impkin!
What a cute duo! I love the giant antlers ❤
Hi, I'm absolutely loving these videos of yours! They're so cute 😊. I was wondering if you had a link to the impkin attribute list you made?
In case you didn't see this in an earlier episode here is the link: drive.google.com/file/d/10K4XR8A7Iv1ptRz7jF22DXLwVZv9_cgV/view?usp=sharing
You can never have too many dice!
Totally agree!!!

Yay. Just in time. I just did a search to see if you did a new roll and what luck! ❤❤❤
This made my day! I usually try to release every two weeks but last weekend was a wee bit crazy and I missed it. Don’t worry though, I should be back on schedule to release on Sundays!

❤❤❤❤❤ I love the videos!!! Thanks for the info sheet! 🎉
I love these videos! Thanks for sharing your sheet with me. I purchased the book. Now I just need to figure out where I put my dice... lol
Megan's book: Crochet Impkins, is available wherever books are sold (or maybe even in your library to borrow). Here's a link through Amazon.www.amazon.com/s?k=crochet+impkins+book+by+megan+lapp&crid=2XQ16UZFGIN4O&sprefix=crochet+impkins%2Caps%2C139&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_2_15
Oh this is a cool idea and came out soo cute.
Your videos are so much fun. I’m so glad that you’re making more of them. I have a love of d&d, dice, and crochet. I have Megan’s book. Would you consider sharing your rolling sheet with us?
Hi - Try this link: drive.google.com/file/d/10K4XR8A7Iv1ptRz7jF22DXLwVZv9_cgV/view?usp=sharing Keep in mind though that I don't have of the options on this board - I mix it up sometime too with other options from the book.
@@kkontoleon1 thank you so much. I’ve had her book for a month or so and just can’t get started. This will definitely help.

So precious, I love the idea of rolling to determine characteristics like that~!
Love it, well done ❤💯😘
I wouldn't hate it if you shared your D&D sheet :)
Do you mean the Roll For Impkin sheet? I can do that!

First time watching your videos. I love, love your way of choosing the parts for the impkins. It makes it unexpected and fun.

Where can I buy those type of eyes?
I get them from a couple of different places. Check out Darkside Crochet: darksidecrochet.bigcartel.com/

Such a great idea to use dice to help the decision process! The book can be a bit overwhelming with all the possibilities!
It is overwhelming! But a lot of fun to do this way - pushes me to do things in a different way than I might have otherwise.

OH MY GOSH you guys! I had no idea anyone even looked at these... I will reply to everyone's questions shortly. I had created these video's for my daughters (away at college now) because they wanted to see what I did. You've convinced me to make more of these videos!
I got the book but I don’t understand it, I was looking to see if you had videos showing how to do it,it would be easier
Check out Megan Lapp's channel. She is the designer of impkins. She also has a Facebook group called Crafty Intentions, they have lots of helpful hints and tips for making these little guys.
Did you get it figured out? I know I struggled with the 'belly' becoming a butt because she has her own way of doing sl st, ch 1
Would you do a tutorial video on how to crochet the legs for a sitting impkin?
So cute, are you willing to share the pattern?
Your impkins are precious keep posting! Luv to see your work!
Thank you! I am so sorry about my late response, I honestly didn't think anyone aside from my daughters looked at these!
Your impkins are so so cute!!!! Where do you order the eyes you use?
I get my eyes from a bunch of designers, but primarily I order them from Darkside Crochet: darksidecrochet.bigcartel.com/. I apologize for the late reply. I didn't realize anyone was watching my little video's!
Where can i get a copy of your sheet? Those are great
Did you have any troubles with standing body 2,arms2 when step 22 says to attach the arms? My slst ch1 seam puts the arm 1 join in a very weird spot. (The seam runs straight up right back leg and up right side of back body)
I recommend joining the Crafty Intentions facebook group. They offer many suggestions for help with this (myself included). I apologize for the SUPER late reply... I honestly did not think anyone but my daughters looked at these.
Wow this videos was even better then the previous one! 👍I hope you' re thinking of making more videos about all the amigurumis you' re making, about yours others nooks ( if you have others ...) Even if you make only monthly videos, like " All the amigurumis I crocheted this month" etc., I feel we would learn and see some beautiful new things!!! Keep them comin'
Thank you so much! I had stopped because I honestly thought only my daughters would peek at them. I've been inspired by everyone's comments though and will get more out shortly!
Hello, I immediately clic when I see somebody crocheting amigurumis ( others then big plushies bees or legged frog!😉 There must be hundreds and hundreds of them videos, reels , photos on Instagram, shorts or videos on Tik Tok!!!🥴)... so Its the first time I see someone rolling the dices for Impkins patterns, or any others patterns from this designer!) What a cool ideas with SO MANY )I WILL BE WATCHING YOU SECOND AMIGURUMI'S video!!!🤗
Where do you get the eyes? They're PRECIOUS
Thank you! I am so sorry about the late response. I did not realize anyone was watching my little videos except for my daughters! I get my eyes primarily from Darkside Crochet: darksidecrochet.bigcartel.com/
