You could have understood the Ludwig reference if you did that. The line distribution of each verse is: 12-8-8-12, so both sides got the same amount of time overall. Regarding Lofi’s first verse, I’d say lines 2, 5, and 8 are DeMarco worthy. The fifth and sixth lines of Cassette’s second should be viewed with the fact that a loss of one’s ability to taste is a symptom that they may have coronavirus. 10:32 So we’re going to pretend that “Looks like SoftDon turned you softcore” and “But not even FNF could get this Android to blow up” aren’t hard disses? I’d even argue that lines 1, 2, and 6 are DeMarco worthy. 12:16 They might be corny to many, but the final two lines of this battle are a rebuttal to the first line, and I think that’s just enough for Lofi Girl to get the win here (in my opinion, of course). 14:10 Stargirl first heard of/“entered” nerdcore in 2019 and to my knowledge, has been in three rap cyphers (Connor Quest!’s Overwatch Cypher, Shwabadi’s 2021 Otaku International Cypher, and NerdOut!’s Ultimate Smash Cypher). 15:26 Both sides had heavy punches. But I know I’m in the minority when I declare my winner. If you want a battle where Lofi Girl truly went hard in, I recommend checking out Lofi Girl vs. Kousei Arima by SIR Rap Battles. It’s criminally underrated and one of my favorite ever rap battles (and one of the closest and best distributed IMO). I really recommend you, however, to watch/read Your Lie in April (the anime/manga Kousei is from) before watching so that you can understand as much of the bars as possible (in addition to getting to know Lofi more). You’re going to LOVE it!

I just found you and I love your in-depth breakdown of some of the more hidden aspects of FabvL's music. I fell in love with FabvL when I heard the transition from his original Dabi song, Cross My Heart, to his newer rendition of it, Cross My Heart Reimagined. The original song portrayed a lot of Dabi's anger and misery after having been abandoned by his family, whereas the reimagined version has this depressed notion that really shows his sadness and dismay. Off-topic, but, I also need FabvL at a concert. Anyways, looking forward to more reactions.

This is off of Rustage and McGwire’s collab album, so if you want to get nitpicky it’s not featuring McGwire just a track by both of them. Would love to see you react to the rest of the album but if anything it’s worth a listen on your own time. It’s shorter than Overflow, only 8 tracks and track 7 is the One Piece DnD track he already released on his second channel. I really enjoyed it.

Originally she was a mascot for his music on Newgrounds, but she was partially phased out when he stopped pursuing music and started focusing on his art. She was a fan favorite on Newgrounds however, leading to a lot of fan art and guest appearences in other projects (like FNF).
