Many thanks for adding the tune list, a great help to know what is being played and when! 👍
I miss, very much, the Friday evenings at the old Organ Grinder in Toronto, listening to David play. David - you still have that wonderful style in your hands!!!
Excellent Video in every way Playing and Camera work
Thanks for a great concert . Nice to hear it played on home territory . From scottish Highlands.
Bravo Monsieur l'organiste , magnifique .
🙏 🎼 I listened this concert (once again), enjoyed very much! An hour ago I also listened to David Lobban’s concert, the sound in that rendition was rather distorted, I am sorry to report…. I now remember that it was distorted the first time I listened… …🙃
🎼 🙏 even though I prefer listening to the pipe organ I enjoyed listening! 🙏 Btw, bringing fine memories of many concerts at the Allen with our (late) dear friend Hans Volmerg in Hamm Germany… 🙏
Wonderful =Bravo=A+
I have always loved the way how David plays the theatre organ especially when he was in the Tower Ballroom.
Excellent! I was actually there at that concert and made an audio recording and took photographs from the balcony.
Wonderful!
An absolutely wonderful concert Iain!
I only recently discovered this organ and now two of your organists. Wonderful performance. I am associated with The Blackwood Theater Organ Society in Harrisville, Pennsylvania
I was not familiar with this organ or the organist Lane McGlinchey. Very nice performance. I am associated with The Blackwood Theater Organ Society in Harrisville, Pennsylvania.
Absolutely beautiful....
Many thanks to Aaron (and David) for recording this splendid piece. Great shame that the live concert on Sunday had to be cancelled but at least glad that we were able to attend and enjoy the two concerts that did go ahead in September and October. Best wishes to everyone in SCOT for a happy Christmas and hope that the concerts can resume in the New Year. Andrew and Joyce Boyd
And today Matthew ..... I will be Johnny Seng. Well done you two! Merry Christmas.
Bravo =A+
Thank you for this concert. Very enjoyable. I was particularly moved by your arrangement of Secret Love Iain. I don''t play but your use of the sustain and all of the lovely melodies on the Solo were just beautiful. I am rarely moved as I was with that piece.
Ian.... that was a thrill.... as usual, your performance was spotless and wonderful.... you are really a master of the instrument.... Bravo
I’m so glad I found this video. I missed Iain’s visit to Bristol last week, when he played the “Wizard Compton” belonging to Byron Jones BEM. I now see what all the excitement was about. Just brilliant, the repertoire, registrations and Iain’s personality all go to provide a first class show.
DAVID, Absolutely superb you’re very talented musician I enjoyed it very much indeed, Peter stirzaker.
Even in retirement, he still gots the goods. In the encyclopedia, Iain's name should appear as one of the most talented organist of the entire world. So glad I got to watch this from Indiana in the United States.
Magnificent! Iain's stylings and registrations are outstanding.
Brill, brill & brill. Need I say more. Not only a fantastic performance, but enhanced by coming from an enthusiast. I love your virtual organ vids.
Super excellent with very good interesting video
Wonderful, Beautiful work my friend..... you should do this more often......Bravo.... you be da man!!
Thanks Buddy. It's a great instrument to play - big and bold in the room but with lots of gentle pretty stuff - Lieblich flute, quintadena etc. It does however come with all the foibles of a living, breathing pipe organ, something those virtual organs don't have, but that's all part of the fun. I had a great time and there is nothing to beat the sound of real pipes played live in a sympathetic room.
Super excellent with very good interesting video
Well played and it brought a smile to my face. Thank you
Theater organs have such a cozy and nostalgic sound!
Super excellent with very good interesting photos
Delightful
Super excellent with very good interesting photos

Fabulous toned instrument, in the hands & feet of an artist. Beautiful.
Super excellent with very good interesting video
Thanks from Ormond Beach Florida! Love the style and tempo. Perfect for me.
Super excellent with very good interesting video
Good to hear the organ not least with these fingers on the Right keys Gordon Exmouth
Alas due to an unusually busy Sunday for me, I couldn't catch the live stream. But now the day is done, and I shall kick these weary heels up, glass of Amaretto in hand, headphones on, and listening to the shimmering splendour of the wonderful WurliTzer at Pollokshaws, with the equally splendiferous Mr. Lobban working his magic at the console. Thanks to The SCOT for presenting another superb online concert for us all to enjoy.
🎼 Too late I was, to tune in on time, but am catching up 👍👍👍 🙏🙏🙏
Hi from Melbourne Australia🙏 enjoying the Concert immensely thankyou to all Concerned for your hard work the result was fantastic. Looking at the Concert on my 85" wall mounted Smart TV with all my lights out so just being like there 😍👍
Hello from Canada. Thank you all so much S.C.O.T., Aaron and all the team for these wonderful concerts. It is always a treat when a new one is posted.
looking forward very much 🙏 😉 👍 toi toi David 🇳🇱
Me and my Girl did NOT start out as a film. It was originally a stage production with music written by Noel Gay. It opened on the West End in 1937 and ran through 1940. The film was made in 1939. The music that you are playing is from the original production. The musical was revived several time, the most recent in 2010.
Always good to hear your very articulate playing and a great variety of tone colour and styles - Best Wishes
Absolutely fantastic 😊 I'm so glad I found this channel👍 thanks so much from Melbourne Australia 👀✔✔✔✔✔✔✔✔✔👍😍
