This is so true! I spent 25 years in a marriage that I had apprehension about after 6 months. Unwilling to admit a mistake I stuck with it until she tried to kill me. Now at 61 I am finally at peace and my relationship with God has grown in ways I've never experienced. I can't help but wonder how life would have turned out with someone sent by God. Instead God used this experience to make me who I am now. I can't complain but wish I'd found this peace 25 years ago.
