มุมมอง 8162 หลายเดือนก่อน
► ABOUT THIS HIKE In late August 2024, I hiked the Liathach Traverse in the West Coast of Scotland, starting from Glen Torridon, laying a short-distance from the settlement Torridon. My ascent of Liathach began by hiking my up through Toll a’ Meitheach, eventually reaching the bealach where I was treated to one of the finest views in Scotland where Beinn Eighe, Beinn Alligan and Beinn Dearg whe...
Love it ! Scotland is definitely on our list of places to go ! FYI the clicking noise at the beginning of the video is likely the zip bouncing near the mic 😅 had this issue many times 😅
Yeah I noticed that myself when watching back! Thanks for tuning in!
Great video mate 😍 looking forward to see more of your adventures 🫂
@@Where_Next_Adventure Thanks for tuning in, looking forward to catching some of your videos as well 🤝
I really enjoyed this video. I liked your honesty and it wasn't a fiasco. I rarely have a camp that goes to plan and as of late - I've been setting up in the dark as well. Keep the vids coming
@@OurScapes Thank you for tuning in, sorry for half the video being in the dark! Working on that for the next video!
Great video mate. You did much better than me on my first wild camp😂😂 All the best for the future 🤝
@@ScottishSummiteer I appreciate that coming from yourself mate! Inspiring me to hit up some bothy’s over the winter! Looking forward to your new vid tonight 🤝
Good vlog there great choice off tent also nice place for your first wildcamp new sub👍
@@Bigaloutdoors Thanks my man 🤝 I see you make some videos yourself, I’ll check them out when I’m back up the road, thanks for the sub, atb.
Good man. You will fall in love with it. Buying gear is a drug 🤣🤣 great upload. New sub from me. Greetings from Ireland ☘️☘️🤙
@@soletrail I’ve found that out already! End of season sales are a killer. Appreciate the sub 🤝
Just done my first wild camp a month ago, loved it. Great video mate. Just subscribed from a fellow TH-camr 😉👍
@@PhilDodsworthOutandAbout Thanks mate, out and about right now but I’ll check your channel out when I can. What’s are harder than learning to wild camp is capturing it on camera 😅
Thanks mate, many more to come
Good video. I do like the MSR range of tents but it looked a bit strained in the wind, maybe invest in a 4 season tent for upcoming camps. Subscribed 👍🏻
@@craigy1872 Thanks Craig, definitely not up to Scottish winter so I’ll look at the Access 1!
@@keirenoutdoors would be good to see you out in the Access 1. Have seen a few other campers using it with mixed feelings on it.
@@craigy1872 I think that would be tent of choice over the winter, others are available of course! Thanks for tuning in, atb 🤝
Nice one buddy.. the first one is always the test of kit and will .. invest in a better light thats half the battle is being able to see.. next one will be better I guarantee it..
@@davidpeebles197 That’s one of the items I’ve written down, some sort of camp light! Appreciate you watching!
Great Video bud! saw this on Reddit :)
@@MattyRv93 Thanks for watching mate, yeah increasingly spending more time on Reddit, good place for info!
Brilliant video. Brilliant! We all start somewhere and you chose the right place in case you needed an early / emergency exit. Toms Cairn is also a good one (flat, sheltered from prevailing). Look forward to the next one son!
PS I think I might have my dehydrator somewhere if you want to start making and dehydrating your own food for a fraction of the price.
@@Weeblesroadtrip Thanks! I’ll get the basics down first haha
Fantastic looking place my friend! This looks really nice
Thank you for your continued support mate!
Great first video. Looking forward to seeing more 👍
@@dpaterson710 Thanks Danny, plenty more to come! Atb
Nice job Keiren, first steps taken and you'll only get better from here. Enjoyed the video, keep up the good work buddy 👍👍
@@scottmcbain5528 Thanks Scott, I’m looking forward to learning the craft! Glad you enjoyed the video! Atb 🤝
Very nice video. Thanks for sharing. 👍7
Thank you, all the best 🤝
Great video. Good effort on the pinnacles too. I'll have to go back when I'm feeling braver!
@@ScotHiking I’ll admit, every TH-cam video I’ve watched makes them seem more exposed than they are (including mine), definitely needs care but on a dry day, it’s was fairly straight forward and exposure wasn’t bad. Thank you for watching the video!
Fantastic! Beautifully shot ❤
🙌🏻
A mountain I've dreamed of for decades, thank you so much for this detailed view of the whole experience. 3:10 was terrifying though lol
Thank you! There were some close moments for sure!
Superb video. Excellent clips, just the right music. Well captured.
Thanks Charles, the goal is to showcase the best of the mountain, hopefully I did that!
I would say so. Excellent.
@@charlesrobert9527I appreciate the feedback! Many more trips to come!
Thanks for posting this excellent video of my favourite Scottish mountain. Climbed it in 1996, 1997, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2008. This video only makes me want to climb it all over again.
@@RosaLichtenstein01 I’m glad it left that impression! Liathach will take some beating!
@@keirenoutdoors :-)
That was great! Some extra miles filming too!!
Yes! I get to the enjoy the mountain twice 😂
This was thumbnail is amazing, fantastic episode my friend!
@@ervinslens Thank you Ervin, thumbnails are never an issue in Torridon!
Magical 👍
@@caledonianson927 Aye a fine day! The weather we wish we had at Camasunary!
