I don’t think dc will release JLA 90’s run in dc finest line because of the complete collection that dc is already doing, there’s already a volume one and the second will be released in February

I already have the first three dc finest and I don’t like how its built the book, isn’t a great quality, and for me I’m not much into golden and silver age comics so I’m done with dc finest, but for the other hand I really liked those new complete collection with awesome series like Morrison JLA, new 52 JL, Batman by Grant Morrison, and so many more to come, greetings Dom

This book was pretty cool. Read it on Hoopla a long time ago. I'm in many 30s now but still hoop when I get the chance. Unfortunately, a lot of my peers have retired from the game lol. Anyway, good luck on Finals! I hated that crap in college but the feeling of relief afterwards is amazing

Thanks for this Dom! I grew up a hoops head myself in Indiana (in the area Hoosiers was filmed), so I get the passion! Interesting book and I’ve definitely enjoyed Gene’s work previously.

Completely agree with you on this book. One of my favorite reads when i first got into graphic novels. I personally don’t care for basketball and don’t even know most of the rules but this book actually made me look up some of the people that appear throughout the story online.

Great video Dom! Thank you. Yes please keep making videos like this. Great subject to cover. I will get this but I am not thrilled with this approach. I want to make clear, I will take whatever they will give for material I want within reason. I am the creator/specific title focused collector. I was hoping for Gillen and Duggan focused X-Omnis that collected their respected Fall and Rise series. I only want to pay for material that focuses on specific runs by creators whose work I enjoy. This kind of Omni is going to be packed with throw away series by creators whose names couldn't sell an Omni on because their work is just not as popular. I hope they do Percy's X-Force and Wolverine series as their own Omnis and Ewing's stuff as well. We'll see. Take care and peace.

Great video. One note for any readers who only read books after the New 52 (that used to be me for the longest time): While Batwoman Elegy did come out in the pre New 52 era, because she was such a new character at the launch of New 52, her origin in Elegy was directly carried over into the new continuity. The New 52 series is simply a continuation of the Elegy story, that’s how the Batwoman omnibus is mapped. I say this because I agree with EVERYTHING Dom said in this video. Batwoman Elegy is a masterpiece and easily one of my favorite stories of all time. Please don’t let the fear of “Pre-New 52” continuity deter you, definitely worth checking out and new reader friendly.

Great video! a diversify reading list including many character (also not an event or origins). Many of them seems like a casual read too. Definitely will refer to this list. Interest in birds of prey, monkey king, shazam, doom patrol and Jurassic league.

Great video and amazing idea to include different requirements just to diversify and suggest books that we may not be familiar with. I feel like most of the times in videos, many of the books suggested are OOP and super appreciative of including this requirement. I think this would be a great series to continue in a way and you could possibly spin off to make as a more monthly type of video possibly!
