Currently in the same boat with you all. My baby has been doing this since probably week 1 or 2. He just turned one month and still ongoing…I just hope it goes away soon!! Are they in any pain as this happens?

Have the same seat and baby set. I love the chair and the concept behind in. Haven’t faced the issue you have with getting baby in and out, what’s easiest for me is standing behind the seat to put baby in, rather than in front of it. That way I can clearly see baby’s knees and the feet holes and get everything lined up. Given the option, I think I’d buy it again, but the baby set does have some serious design flaws: 1) the tray is open on the bottom and has 1,000,000 tiny crevices. One gooey baby hand with peanut butter or tomato sauce on it, and I’m scrubbing way longer than I need to. 2) the straps can’t be removed from the baby set. Not only are they in the way and probably a bit uncomfortable, they also pose a cleanliness challenge since there’s no good way to clean them. I do my best by wiping the fabric down following meals, but they honestly need to be soaked at this point. 3) the only way to remove the seat cushion is to remove the plastic baby insert (mine is really challenging to get out). Because it’s so difficult to remove the baby insert, we stopped using the seat cushion.

Oh yeah thank you all, I’m a bit relieved because last night,only God knows. I cried holding my baby, he’s almost 2 months old and started doing this about almost a week ago. Most people say if their navel is turning in out, they do that too. I pray God protect all babies and newborn mother always. We need it

My 16 week old started doing this yestuday 😂 i was weirded out cause i was waiting for her to go on all 4's and her head to turn 180 degrees 😂 i was asuming its cause she is getting older and stronger she is able to sit up with help and also can lift her head and tries kicking off and crawling on her belly but iant strong enough to kick off or pull on her belly yet but is strong enough on her back. But that isnt the only thing she has learned in the last 3 weeks she has learned how to giggle in her sleep at 2 am in her pack n play next to our bed (has a risen cot) shit scares you cause its like am i hearing my child or some demon child. 👀

There is nothing abnormal about this at all. Its normal baby sounds for babies this age. All three of my children did this and every other newborn to 2 to 3 month old babies i've been around do this. They cry and make noises for a variety of reasons as this is how they communicate at this age. They usually do it when waking up, as first signs of hunger, when theyve been disturbed, etc. This is not a sound of discomfort or pain either. They make very soecific cries when in pain and trust me you'll know it.
