Just happen to my laptop. Got a 2016 Touch Bar. Apple is repairing it for free. They said a lot of laptops have this probably. Should have it back on 5-7 days. So go to apple before you pay
Do you have the 13" oder the 15" 2016 MacBook Pro? I have the 15" 2016 and the Apple support doesn't want to repair it for free. I have been to different Apple Stores but the support was so bad and the showed no understanding. It is the last Apple product for me.
@@TheCro92 I have 2016. I have 13. I didn’t have any cracks or any kind of damage on the screen. Tell them you don’t have any water damage as well. Try talking to someone that looks friendly at the apple store. It’s for sure covered and should be free
@@TheCro92 They will not change it for free as the program is only for 13" (4 thunderbolt and 3 thunderbolt)
I am having A 1706 with backstage light, flexgate issue, display. I reported a wornout cable, but they are stick to the statement that it is some fall or so. They are saying that I am reporting it for the first time. Requesting you all to come together to complaint for the same. If it is a manufacturing defect, apple should cover it free of cost.

Hi I’m having a similar issue (my screen starts flickering when it gets too hot) and i was wondering if using your macbook with an external display is possible? i haven’t tried yet but would this work? i don’t care if i ruin my macbook screen when doing this and letting it heat up till if completely melts the display port...can i just use this set up ?
I’ve been using mine with an external display for a few weeks now without any problems
i got similar problem, it flickered then the display gone black when I opened zoom for more than 3 hours and yes it super hot on the bottom. Using second screen will fix the display issue, but not the correct answer that i looking for. I dont think this video explains well
