SF Studios began way back in the '80's making movies as a kid (some are shared here). It has evolved into what you see here, a blend of science-fiction, prop-building, car restoration, mower repair, bicycle customization and anything else interesting I happen to come across, create or contribute to. If you dream it, you can build it, film it and share it!

Coming along nicely 😊
Yeah not too shabby for an ill-fitting warped model from the 1970's!
Sweet! I'm wiring my way through a Pegasus kit lighting now🙂
Nice. I built a classic Artemis class Battlestar kit during the pandemic. I named mine The Nekhbet.
Well done, i'll be doing mine with the wood grain but i enjoyed watching your work
Good luck with your restoration project!
Wow! That's beautiful 🎉
I'm really happy with the way it turned out. Thank you for your kind comment.
Te esta quedando bien
Gracias!
@MrSFSTUDIOS I have a NOS 4 into 2 Header complete with dual exhaust and mufflers. Everything has been JET Coated. Brand new, never installed.
Wow that sounds nice. How much?
Fantastic thanks!
cool 🤩🤩💪
Thank you!
Happy New Year. Beautiful model, that base, I am thinking of making it big, over 80 to 90 cm, during this year, I am now finishing a Valkyrie and then I will get into the classic Battlestar Galactica large model rescaled by me that will measure approximately 90 cm I estimate that I will finish it by summer.
Sounds like some fun projects! Thanks for checking mine out.
Ese es un muy buen modelo, lo tengo desde hace tiempo y lo muestran en "thepropstore" Lot 51- Battlestar Galactica , a si que ya tienes una gran pieza de colección.
Gracias.
I have this in my collection & raiders. The Galactica & Vipers too.
It’s too bad they don’t make kits like that anymore.
looks very cool
Thank you! I love the way the paint came out. Looking forward to finishing it and chroma-keying it. Thanks for checking it out.
Love it 😂🤣😅🥲
Where did you get the seals and gaskets from? Any parts numbers or sizes from them? Looks like acdelco something or other. Ty
They were new old stock off eBay. Bought them years ago.
Check it out, they hired Kurtzman Star Trek FX department.
Alex is one of my heroes along with Adam Savage.
I noticed a "midget Viper" version (code name Ondooey Onstop) ... almost looks like a S.H.A.D.O Interceptor in Viper colors... interesting take on a "snub fighter".
Yes, that is Heru's Vulture Star-Sprite. It is a multi-phasic time-converting time-ship! Watch Episode 4 of Battlestar Nekhbet. Heru explains it when he is flying beside his Uncle Seth on the way back to the Nekhbet.
Good job
Fun! Lol 😝 creative.
Thank you!
This is what a Battlestar game on SegaCD would have looked like ;)
Always wanted one of those. I loved Dragon's Lair and Space Ace in the arcade and SegaCD was the only way to play them at home.
@@MrSFSTUDIOS There is an unreleased (during commercial lifetime) game called Star Strike. change the ships to battlestars and thats what your video instantly puts in my mind ;)
You need 2 things to make this look authentic: 1) Filter the audio through a rotary phone's speaker 2) Add a layer full of static to give the impression of an analog video signal. In other words, what you've produced is way better than the original. Good job.
Thank you! The original show had a 14 million-dollar budget and John Dykstra to create their effects. I'm doing it all with a laptop, some models and several green-screens!
Super cool!!! It's awesome how it's related to the original series as well.
This will be even more evident in episode 8.
Lol gold!!!
Wait til you see episode 8!
@MrSFSTUDIOS cheers!!! 👍👍
Pretty close just a hair off. And I think I could hear your British accent. bad ass though, bro,
Considering i made the whole thing for less than a few hundred-dollars, I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. I did update the chest-plate to look more like the original one. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Very creative ideas. Good video.
Thank you! Be well.
Mowers these days are throwaway junk. Give me Zerk or give me death!
We still don't know if greasing them does any good . If the bearings are sealed cartridge-style inside the spindles, the grease will never reach the actual bearings only displace water around the seals.
I fixed the cold-start idle issues by replacing the idle air control valve with a quality Delphi part! Car runs great again and idles like it should cold or warm!
Hey Guys! This fixed my car's cold-start issues! Turns out the previous Carquest replacement idle air control valve was defective! This Delphi part has my car idling like it should cold or warm!
The algorithm has blessed me with this video. Great work!
Bless the Lords of Kobol! There are six more episodes after that one! th-cam.com/play/PLcKbr-Wc1FR6QqkyQrlx45dbsQMMIzMr4.html
Pretty Cool! (Especially for Christmas lights!)
I am glad you liked it, thanks! The original BSG show used a compressed gas and halogen bulbs to create their turbo effect.
Genial idea, y precioso trabajo el realizado en el viper, colores muy acertados.👏👏💪
Mucho Gracias, Senior.
I watched the whole episode. It's better than I first thought at first. Pretty good sci-fi extension of Battlestar.
Thanks! We have more fun coming in episode 8!
It's doubtful that Paddy Chayefsky or David Mamet could have penned more insightful dialogue. Scifi movie fare hasn't moved me this much since Spock's heroic sacrificial death scene in the Wrath Of Khan, and they even had the advantage of the master thespians William Shatner and Walter Koenig.
Thanks for watching. I can't take credit for some of the ancient Egyptian quotes. They were originally written by scribes and Ptah Hotep. It just felt they fit so I included them. I hope to include more ancient poetry and wisdom in future episodes. Please stay tuned!
G'day ,just found you, I too lost my Cat Graham 3 year old to the same thing, I hope by now the Pain has eased somewhat, Graham crossed over some 12 Years ago, we still think of him! Armadale West Aust.
I am sorry for your loss. yes we still miss PJ a lot but our Ragdoll cat is doing his best to try and fill the void left by PJ's passing.
My uncle SWORE by Marvel Mystery Oil. He had a old subaru with over 300,000 miles! Must of been doing something right.
It works great for cleaning automotive tools as well. I use it to wipe down my ratchets, sockets and wrenches. Cleans them and keeps them free from corrosion!
@MrSFSTUDIOS wow nice, never thought of using it that way.
@@RJL1983 Leaves the tool drawer smelling fresh! Also works great for cleaning guns! Washes away carbon gunk from the bullet chambers and slide mechanisms.
Had fluctuating oil pressure on 4.3 blazer. Added a qt of MMO and 500 miles later steady as could be….ran better too.
@@jjjsmith2497 I think even with proper maintenance and excellent synthetic oil, engines still develop some sticky goop on the internals. MMO seems to help wash it away.
The problem with those $50 Canadian scanners is that you cannot wear the helmet because the Electronics motherboard sticks out too far. I de-soldered all the LED bulbs and added 8 inches of wire so that the motherboard could be placed in the mohawk of the helmet, now there’s plenty of room
That's a nice idea! Jupiter's board works ok if you put a small pad on the board. It just barely rests on the bridge of my nose.
He's back! 🌙
The Neteru never left. Everyone just stopped worshipping them when J.C. took center-stage.
@MrSFSTUDIOS back on earth.
@@Iamblacklight All knowledge should be available to those who seek it.
How cool! The costumes came together fantastic.
Thank you!
is that a cranky granny ? maybe in her last life, seems pretty cool here
Nothing cranky about Dr.Hetheru. She's awesome!
cool Led Bar
cool sound effects
I appreciate you telling us about the voltage. The movie gel should work great with the cool running LED lamps. I’ll have use the tarp idea as I continue restoring a receiver I’m working on.
Glad the video was useful to you.
Dude this is excellent. You’ve got enough critical mass here for making indie films.
We will be finishing episode 7 in the next two weeks. The original outline I had calls for ten micro-episodes, so STAY TUNED!
Astounding. All the details working together so well.
I need to watch this on acid.
Yes you really should. Check out the other episodes as well. Episode five is very strange. It exists in altered time and space.
Do you have any idea what the seal kit number is? Im having a hard time finding anything
I don't know the numbers for the caliper rebuild kit. I can't seem to even find remanufactured ones online. The Vega is now 52 years old and was obsolete by the 1980's. Good luck. if there are enough people out there that still run the stock brakes, some manufacturer will take notice and offer parts. That's what happened during the pandemic. Raybestos started making rotors again. You might contact the Cosworth Vega Owner's Association. They usually have all kinds of sources for Vega parts. Hope that helps!
What were the parts numbers or sizes of the parts you used?
what am I lookin at?
A scene from the next exciting episode of Battlestar Nekhbet where Seth is restored from having his head severed at the end of episode 6.
Next time add at the end, fleei ng from cyclon tyranny😮
Thanks for tuning in. We are working on Episode seven.
Episode 3 ends that way, but we say Defending against Cylon tyranny instead.
It looks great! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
You too. Thanks for stopping by the channel.
Thank you for making this video. Helped a lot.
A friend suggested whenever I do something, document it and share it. He said others might benefit from seeing how things come apart and go back together. So that's what i try to do now.
