This King Seiko 44KS is a Masterpiece - Affordable and reliable vintage timepiece you should get
มุมมอง 2.6K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
Between all vintage watches, the King Seiko 44-9990 aka 44KS really stands out. This reference is so important in the lineup, that Seiko decided to relaunch the modern version of it. But is it worth high price tag? I went with the vintage version and here´s why… Follow my watch journey on instagram: watchillaax Channels mentioned in this Video: @iloveSEIKO @@richardperrettwatchma...

Omega Seamaster 300 - The best Daily Diver ?
มุมมอง 16K10 หลายเดือนก่อน
Hey there! Welcome to my first TH-cam Video. I was inspired by the Omega Seamaster 300, that I had on the wrist for a week, to share its beauty and story with you, because I think not many of you have this piece on the radar. What are my impressions of this piece? Is it a good buy? You´ll see in this video! Follow me on Instagram @watchillaax
Thank you forget review! Could you please tell what a music at the end?
Perfect watch BUT the dial awful, don't say anything, imagine this watch with white gold shiny polished raised indices, it will be an ICONIC when.
07:41 Why not spend a bit more? Then you showcase a 2 times more expensive watch.
Love the model and I'm in search of one. Thanks for sharing
I am sorry but I am going to get a lot of hate for this comment but just buy the Baltic aquascaphe. I got it to plus or minus 4 seconds a day and I have extra cash.
Very high quality production and content. Good luck building your channel. Subscribed.
Fica bem em um pulso de 19.5cm?
O relógio dos meus sonhos
Nice Video ! Love the Seamaster 300. So classy <3 What Watchcase did you use at the beginning of the Video ?
So furlaan Mari is better than?
It's an amazing watch. I want to own, but I do find the design and size gives a little too much negative space on the dial. This design would suit a smaller case as you mentioned with 20mm lug spacing. OMEGA GIVE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT (Tudor does)
The faux lume killed it for me
amzwatch 's watches are worth it!
The single problem with ALL modern omegas: simply too thick
Hello . I have this watch.I have a problem with it. At direct sun light I can see that numbers in digital displays are flashing (blinking) very fast. Please check this issue at your watch.
Which baltic model should I get for work/formal events. I am getting the Hamilton Khaki Field King Auto for casual wear
Dial sticks out too far
I had a similar experience with my MR01 Salmon-wanted it very badly for 18 months, but when it finally arrived, I quickly realised it wasn’t going to be a keeper. And for much the same reasons as you have outlined here-a bit too blingy/shiny, something just a little cheap about it. There’s a word in English that sums it up perfectly - ‘blousy’. But I still love my 3 other Baltics, I don’t expect them to hit a home run every time…
Thanks for sharing your experience! Another new english word to my Vocabulary :D Thanks
The Seamaster 300 is tooooo LARGE for my wrist. Make a 37,38, 39 version and I will make the purchase.
There is a 39mm Version in the Trilogy Collection ;)
Thanks for the content, Agree with your words this watch was slightly underwhelming when I first put my hands on it in Paris. Definitely a bit too light. I think it’s hard to beat for the money but the next watch on my list is a MAEN Manhattan 37mm, hopefully it’s better.
Thank you! Oh the Manhattan looks very nice, hopefully I get hands on with it soon!
I have both the MR01 and the Manhattan 37. I definitively wear the Manhattan more and am considering selling the Baltic.
I like some of the designs that microbrands put out. I think microbrands add more interest to the hobby. However, I often find they are unconvincing in terms of quality. The only microbrand I have ever owned was an Armida A1, which I got for trading my Seiko Caesar Chronograph. I've been tempted many times to give microbrands a try. I think the only ones I would consider now are Christopher Ward and Nomos.
@@ultramagnus7842 You should check out Sphaera Watch Co. 😎✌🏼
@watchillaax I saw a review of one not long ago. I'm not sure if it was on your channel or someone else's. It was the first time I'd heard of the brand. I quite like the design...it looks tough and industrial. It's just a bit overpriced, though, at €1,400 for the hesalite desk diver.
Please show me how the alarm clock works, I’m interested in how it rings, I’m thinking about buying this watch, and this is important to me. Thank you
I read from a user who bought one, was saying the alarm sound is muffled by the balloon material in the back, which is a shame.
Hey! Thanks for your comment!Unfortunately it was just a loaner and I don´t have it here with me anymore, but yeah it´s a bit tricky to operate :D
Thank you so much amzwatch for taking us shopping🛍…my wish list just got longer
enjoyed the review Daniel ... the changes you made are good . felt more natural
I bought a unit in Singapore.. and ended up selling it for a cheap price. It was my first micro brand and I didn't know what to expect. The watch felt cheap on the wrist. The only thing that I liked is the small second hand movement.
Hey! Thanks for sharing your experience! Yeah you get what you pay for in this case.
Hey buddy, nice video! STP is a bit more complicated brand name to me, as you may already noticed all STP movements are based on Seagull movements from China, some says they just brought raw seagull movements to swiss and re brush the finish and regulates them, then brands on the STP logo; other says STP is founded by seagull to expand their international business, I don’t know which is right about it, until one day I found a seller in China who seem to have infinite stock on STP 6-15 movement, it only cost around 50 USD, I bought one and compares it side by side with the STP6-15 I bought from switzerland (costs 300 USD) under a microscope, and damn they are identical to each other😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 now I really don’t know what is what😅
This might have been the case some years ago, but hey with a lot of manufacturers in Switzerland...
Great review and video. Refreshing to hear an honest and balanced perspective. And the video quality was excellent.
Thank you!
I’ve been wearing the black dial version daily for almost 5 years. It’s still makes me smile
Killer watch!
I bought a limited edition Perpetuél release MR01 with eastern arabic numerals, and I wore it less than 10 times. The idea of the watch is amazing but owning it is waste of money.
Yeah, it just seems like dogshit to me and way overhyped.
Well it´s a 500$ watch, but great design!
I like what the brand is doing design-wise but I'm worried about the quality.. I've read some stories about their movements falling apart (when they use chinese movements)
You get what you pay for! You get a bit more design wise that’s true! I wouldn’t worry much about the movement falling apart though. They are controlled in their workshop in France and for that you have the warranty.
I have to say that #mamacoo 's watches is amazing!
I totally agree with you. I love the look of these watches but they feel so cheap. The Chinese movement rattle doesn’t inspire confidence either. It’s a shame as I really do love the design.
Keep up the great work man 👍🏼
that some sorta custom guitar?
Yeah it´s a custom guitar made by a friend
#mamacoo Bolsa réplica 1:1 con imagen reflejada, resistente y resistente al desgaste. Me gusta mucho.
You should try the 39mm Trilogy Seamaster from 2017, proportions are near perfect.
What can I say… FOMO is real and I bought 2 of them, the salmon dial and silver dial. Immediate sold the salmon as it doesn’t match my skin complexion. Kept the silver dial (still have it but seldom wear it). Call me cheap but I still prefer to wear my orient bambino 38 than MR01 for ‘affordable’ dress watch.
I also have a bambino and I think the build quality of the Japanese movement is a lot better overall. 3 months in to barely wearing the Baltic and the movement broke. Very disappointing but that's the risk you run with Chinese movements... I know they're supposed to have a secondary level of quality control but it's still a gamble. I've had other mechanical Chinese watches last over ten years 0 issues. Still waiting on customer service, would not recommend buying this. Another thing almost all these reviews neglect to mention- you can hear the micro rotor and it just feels and sounds cheap. $500 for a chinese movement and non saphire crystal is just such a rip.
Nice video Daniel! Really enjoyed the B-Roll just shows your skills as a creator 👏. Keep the cool videos coming!
Thank you Niko!
"Shame on you"?? for not knowing a brand that makes homage watches? 😆
I wouldn´t call them hommage, but vintage inspired
True! It’s such a great watch for this price no question. I didn’t wear it a lot that is why it had to go. Thank you for stopping by ✌🏼
Would love to see that review. I borrowed the MR01 for a while and I agree with you on all points. Very curious to check out Furlan Marri though.
Thank you! I’ll try and get my hands on it for a review ✌🏼😁
Impressive shots🔥
thank you 🙏🏼
Nice Review Thank you. I have this Watch but the summer blue Version. I love this classic Timepiece.
Thank you 🙏🏼 Oh that blue is fantastic 😍👌🏼 Congrats!
to be exact, Daini vs Suwa divisions / factory PRIMARILY produces KS and GS.... (but ) NOT only or exclusively .... each of these factory all produces BOTH KS and GS .... and these factories sometimes borrow from each other , e.g. 1 brand is used for test/initial launch for a new watch design/model , then later the design / model was modified or improved changed slightly and then relaunched in another Brand ....
Excellent video. Amazing levels of research. Had no idea such a small channel. Deserve to do well on TH-cam. Good luck
Thank you 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙌
I could help set up the Orbiter, But, probably best to call Breitling Customer Service. They need the practice and need to hear from customers. Depending on your time zone, the watch may be set up when you get it. I’m still having a problem with getting the Alarm function to work. I think I have set up both Alarm 1 and 2, but can’t get the alarm(s) to sound. Quite annoying. The B70 movement needs an upgrade. Since the watch is covered under warranty for 4 years (free 2-year extension when you buy from Bretling), I would hope that happens at some point.
Keep doing what you doing. Enjoyed every minute ❤
Thank you! 🙏🏻
If I may offer some constructive critique, the beginning and background music is very loud. When I need to adjust the volume key to preserve my ears, then I click away. Did not continue watching.
Thank you! Lessons learned 👍🏻
i have the same, beatiful piece
It´s a great piece indeed! 👌🏻
Just received the Orbiter yesterday. But, the B70 is very difficult to set up the digital time, hands, date, day. I have two Aerospace Evo's and they are sooo simple. You need to do a video on how to set up this watch I have an engineering degree, very tech savy, and, I follow the instructions, but, it doesn't seem to work. Driving me crazy. Other than that, it's a beautiful watch
Good feedback! And how do you like the fit and the look of it if side by side to the evo?
Follow-up to my original post.It took numerous attempts and a call with Breitling Customer Service (which was no help)to set up the watch, but finally did it it. I love the watch. The digital displays are bigger than the Evo and you can adjust the lighting level and duration (up to 20 seconds). Once you learn how to use the three pusher buttons, it’s fine. My two big disappointments are there is no minute repeater (like the Evo) and the alarm and countdown timer beeper sound is barely audible. I could never use the watch for an alarm wake-up, unlike the Evo. The store manager at the Breitling Boutique Palo Alto, CA store agrees with me. I think the balloon material (visible in the back of the case) is muffling the sound. I’ve talked with Breitling and they are looking into it. Also, Breitling says they are rewriting the owner’s manual. The digital displays/lighting are a definite improvement from the EVo. The orange face is beautiful. But, the B70 mechanism is much more complicated and difficult to use.
I am getting mine in a week or so - I might need help setting it up please?
@@RyanOConnorZA and RockyMoss- I got mine yesterday and its not like the prior gen so takes a bit more getting used it. First you want to synchronize the hands to 12 to make sure they are aligned. Click the crown until you are in config mode, click the other button to see hands and then click the crown to see HOUR - Now long press lower button to move 3 hours at a time and click it incrementally to move it in fine steps. Your goal is to land it at 12. Click the crown and do the same for minute hand. Now both hour and minute should be exactly pointing at 12. Click crown to get out. With this done, back in normal time keeping mode, hold down the crown to get to setting mode and click the crown to cycle through and use the other buttons to change. In one time keeping position you change year, month , day and the other one you change the time. I will see if I can post a video on this but the key is clicking the crown to cycle through. THe manual isn't much help! The watch is amazing though
I think Omega fail to use an aluminium bezel. It has to be ceramic bezel. And omega used to much chrome color.
