I passed my GFT and did a lot of training in G-SACR, G-SACT, G-SACS and G-LORC early 2000s. Just as the tarmac rwy 29 was being constructed. Which I think is now 28.... Hardly ever used 06, was mostly 29, 24 and occcasionally 01. 01 was fun - nice and short and you got a good bump on sunny days from the air rising from the open coal mine just before the threshold. I remember John Cross and a couple of others.

When I trained at Sherburn it was 29/11 - I guess the earth's magnetic field has shifted! They had just built the tarmac runway, around 2002.

I took the door handle out. When putting it back together it would not pop the handle down. I had to lift up the inside latch and push the screw in holding the screw in and it locked the latch. While keeping the screw pushed in place the handle in and the lock. Nightmate tbh 😂

I didnt pull the door hand before i loosened the screw. I got the door handle back in and under the latch but the door still isnt opening. Any ideas?

Nice set of circuits. Love the constant look out and following of traffic and a good pick up of the pressure change. One personal comment is I like to call, and hear, the runway and intent so I know what is happening...eg "DB Downwind 06 touch and go".....as it helps planning and spacing (going a bit wider or further behind a "full stop" than a touch and go. But I don't think that's taught at SAC now, so keep doing what you've been taught I guess

I learned at Sherburn on G-SACT in the 1990s. Brings back good memories. Overall pretty good flying. My only comment is that you were a tad low on approach and very close to the power lines on short final. If you’re worried about landing too deep into the runway, try aiming for 60-65kt on very short final , or alternatively approach slightly higher but fully cut the power at 50ft (once clear of the power lines). The final stages of your approaches were quite flat and you were delaying cutting the power to idle until the flare.

How did you wrap the vinyl around the number plate lights, do you remove these first? If so, are you able to show a video of this?

Brilliant, was struggling with the damn thing for 30 minutes. Definitely need to be careful putting it back in as I stupidly almost pulled the mechanism into the door cavity haha.

My 1st was in Chesterfield canal second into a tree in France thought would get some lovely footage of castles in the Dordogne 1st time up crash end of that lol

Shame you haven't show how to reassemble because it isn't easy too! You need pull tab inside with some hooking tool and "hook" it back, then you need lock it again so it stays in that open position you showed by pushing again this mechanism all way, but it wouldnt click again, it would however lock handle in place, without that small part wouldn't want get back in.. Also if you don't push it and just leave as you said, when removing handle, this mechanizm with screw can get pushed back a bit too far, which prevent smaller part to fit back. And even of do, screw then can drop down to bottom because its only secure for screw out, not screw in!,it can fell if mechanizm isn't pushed way.... Just figure this out hard way... 😂
