Anyone know how to get to the actual door? Having a hard time finding it
[Chorus] Way up north (North to Alaska) Way up north (North to Alaska) North to Alaska We're goin' north, the rush is on North to Alaska We're goin' north, the rush is on
Whats the point of the zip ties if the motor cant turn the flap? Will it bounce back to outside air or something?
Yes, the flap is just floating freely once that piece is broken
Awesome video! Place is coming along nicely!
I need those double shims that sit on the top of the top hat. Do you know the part number for these, I can’t find them anywhere.
(AL3Z-18183-A), you will need 4
Don’t worry. They are more than double currently.
Wow...
So, was the truck better off road?
In my opinion, yes
Wow. excellent video. Thank you.
I would have never thought that it rains in Georgia
Catless or high flow cats?
I plead the 5th
@ lol that’s a big 10-4. My stock mufflers welds are giving out and with my setup I’m looking for a mild muffler because it’s gonna be loud.
Is it sprayed thick enough? Thanks
I think I did 2 or 3 coats
nice video and information.
7:04 I was the Tacoma lol. I def tried to baby her in certain spots and the mud was still washing off 3 or 4 washes later haha. Great video.
Kudos to you for getting out there and pushing it
🤘🏽🤘🏽
Where did you purchase the material?
amzn.to/3BWM59I
Frostbite just got universal Chinese shifters
What obd scanner is that
Sct x4 tuner
Where did you purchase that bearing ?
It's in the video description
Grind the bolt.. Not the drawer..
That's fair, but it was already a low profile bolt head. Wouldnt have been a lot of meat left on it.
What temperature on thermostat are you running ?
If I remember right, I'm running a 183 degree mustang thermostat
My backflip leaks like a sieve it’s terrible! Took it n back to the shop for an adjustment and it’s now going to leave from the front and the seals are completely screwed up
I have to pay to get mine done, lucky you
I have the same truck. 17’s im looking at have and offsett of +34 instead of the factory offset of +44. So Im not going to poke as far outas far as yours being 0 offset. BUT do you think UCA will rub? And relations to fender rub, will it lesson fender rub being tucked in further? Thx
I would expect no fender rub. How wide of a tire are you going?
@@NSQGarage same as yours Should be very close to 12.4”
I have a 12fx4. The wheel and tires sizes and flares im going to do.
I have a 12 fx4. Going with this setup. Thank you. Can actually get this setup right now for just over 2k now. Guess 17” rims aren’t popular anymore. I love them
Honestly dumping the ford orange and using prestone ultimate with 40 coolant to 60 water and a bottle of hipertech supercoolant literally deopped my temps just over 10 degress during normal operation i guarantee it will drop towing dramatically
Wow I might have to try that. Thanks for the info!
Would you happen to remember the transmission temps? Just came back from vacation a few weeks ago pulling the TT and the trans fluctuated between 210 to 238 and wasn’t something I was happy with so I’ve been thinking of upgrading the trans cooler. I noticed the temps would only go up running at higher rpm’s when pulling up steepish grades and go back down once the truck shifted and dropped rpm’s. A little different from your setup in the vid as I have the 5.0 and my camper is probably around 6,500-7k lbs.
I don't. In general, it did start to get slightly warm before I did the mods. It stays nice and cool now! Does your truck have a transmission cooler at all? Depending on your trim/packaged, you may not have one
@@NSQGarage Yeah it’s a ‘14 XLT and it has a stock cooler. It normally does just fine but it didn’t like the small mountain passes between Colorado and New Mexico. Looks like Full Race only deals with the EcoBoost when it comes to the F150 so it looks like I may need to look elsewhere.
You have the most nit picky complaints. I’d hate to see how you act at a restaurant
I bet your farts stink, you sicko.
Takes one to know one
Oh, please! If he ran the restaurant, it would be a five-star place by now. Some people just can't handle standards!
This same thing happened today to my 2014 Raptor. About 1 month ago I noticed passing restaurants the smell would get in even though the vents was set to closed. This morning the blower motor went out and replaced it and found that exact same piece in the blower motor. Looks like I’ll be buying zip ties to fix that issue.
I stay in chicken house country, marsh mud land (eastern shore Maryland) it will be done by Saturday
Dont worry about the fcc. They have more important things to do
Was there any gaps between the tail gap and cover
Not if you install it properly.
Love it. You had me at "cheap and easy"
I fixed mine last night. Thanks you tube !!
How do you access that area? I can see it with my bore scope camera, but the whole blower assembly is in the way.
To properly replace the part, you have to remove the blower which is a huge task. I was able to reach my hand up there and get it done. It was not fun....
How is it with no sway bar for daily driving and highway? I know a guy who did it and said didn’t notice a difference and now he does break links all the time like mine does with a 2 inch lift
It's super cushy with no sway bar. It is a little unnerving when taking a corner with some speed. If I was only driving in town with rough roads, I would say no sway bar. But the higher speed stuff seems more risky.
@@NSQGarageis there any videos or info you know of about removing the sway bar? Just trying to see if i could do it in the drive way or not haha.
Would this work with my 2021?
I'm sure they make something similar for your model year
What do you use to protect the surface from the sun? Any fading issues?
I haven't really noticed severe fading.
Do you still have those raptor style fender flares with the led running lights ?
I sold those a long time ago, unfortunately
Are the inner tie rods the same length as the f150?
Inner tie rods are exactly the same
Just curious, whats the point of the pressure cut off switch if you're not using a tank?
You do it so the pump does not run continuously. Without the cutoff, the pump would run until the air fittings, air lines or pump were to fail.
Still running these?
No, I got rid of them when I did the raptor swap.
@@NSQGaragecopy. Any issues with them. They look like they’d clunk some.
@@test15799 they definitely did after a while. I got them in stainless after a bit. That helped compared to aluminum
Looking at doing an F150 to raptor conversion, just the suspension. Did you have to relocate your leaf spring hangers to be able to bolt in the raptor leaf springs?
Nope they fit right in. If I remember right, the shackles were the exact same too.
As a former HVAC Tech I can tell you the specific heat content comment was correct 👍🏽
I need this💯
Raptor guys call them Fraptors.
Have you tried traveling via air with this crate? If so would you be able to make a video about it ? That would be awesome !
We have not flown with it. I don't think you would even allowed to fly with a pet in it, but maybe collapsed
👍
Great video, I'm sitting here getting ready to do the same mods to my truck minus the Manifolds. This test is exactly what I was looking for. I live in Utah too and need the help when pulling this trailer in the summer. I'm also doing a 170 thermostat, AFE larger Transmission pan, and an air/oil seperator. Might as well dump a bunch of money into this pig at 150k miles.
Is this stock? Mine will do that on 35s right at 14 seconds but Im tuned and modded.
Tuned and modded on 35s. Looks like I was about 19 seconds, but that was also at 4000+ ft
@@jacobswearingen4484 Gotcha. Love the content. Did you ever get a parts list of the disconnecting sway bar links you had made? That guys website was very confusing.
@@ProjectAjax no I don't think I did. I ended up getting rid of those. They clanked around a bunch. I looked into making some myself by piecing together a bunch of parts. It gets a little pricey though
