      That's not how the world works, and it's not how it worked back then. Letting them pass was a 90% chance of Belgium being occupied and France as well, none of the leaders of those nations should allow that for the sake of their nations. But well they won in the end.

    It is because of only 2 -3 men who knew how the sabotage the waterlocks and didn't wait and took initiative that the german army couldn't by pass the allied army on the western flank. Not exaggerated that these men saved the western front.On top we had at that time the best ruler who kept fighting, who inspired the rest of the belgian army to fight on a very small part on the most western part of the front, near ypres, that never got overrun by the germans

    The king-soldier Albert was not a ruler but a true leader. Not a fancy dude in office but a man amongst men. So very different from his ruthless uncle and his cautious son. I wonder what he would’ve done in world war 2 had he survived the hiking accident.

      It was Allied with Germany and K.U.K. until 1915, then it changed sides due to problems with it's former Allies. It fought on the side of the Allies from summer of 1915

      I just checked that, it's actually amazing and might even give it a watch. But he joined them later in the war. The events that I talk about in the video are all in 1914, before they got steel helmets, and when the Belgian uniform was dark blue

      @@ДимоЦолов if we're talking about WW1, it was Three nations against One, Over 900 Thousand from the Central Powers against 300 Thousand Serbians and Montenegrins. But later in the War, Bulgaria was defeated by the Vardar Offensive, where the main Allied force were Serbians and French, so technically, Serbia defeated Bulgaria. Am I wrong???

      @@Sollemne Bulgaria mainly on the southern front with some germans vs serbs,greeks,russians,italians,french,british and colonial allies. The Vardar offensive was half successful. Only the left flank broke trough at Dobro Pole. 6 000 bulgarians vs 31 500 serbs and french. No army can win against that. Not to even mention the artillery advantage which was 1:10. The right flank (british) that was routed at Doiran couldn't accomplish the intended incerclment of the Macedonian army group. So the allies were forced to sign an armistes instead of the intended capitulation. Serbia was supposed to take the Shopluk region and Romania:Varna,but because of Doiran they could not.

    1 Arditi and Compagnie della Morte are not related in any way 2 Arditi did not use any kind of shield(those were the scudati and were disanbanded already in 1916) 3 Arditi did not use any kind of body armour or heavy helmet (the literally just use the regular infantry helmet) 4 MGs were used only staticly 5 Short rifles was standard issue of every Ardito and they used them a lot, only officers got pistols

      ​@@Sollemne You pretty much imply that Arditi came from compagnie della morte. Vietually in every pic of Arditi none is using armours and no source claims that. The VP indeed was fired from the shoulder but was an SMG, none would have used a Schwarzlose like that. You also said that they attacked with just daggers and barely any rifle. Kinda untrue since they used rifles way more than the dagger.

      ​@@enoppp167the stuff that happens in the Intro is very flawed in general, is the very first thing I've done for TH-cam, and the Schwarloze being used is one of the many problems with it. There are many pictures of them, some of which I showed, in which they used body armour, mainly to protect them from shrapnel, which was the responsible for about 50% of casualties during WW1. The part where I say that they attacked with Daggers, and rifles every now and then, is also a mistake, but it's such an unimportant thing that I don't see the need for pointing that out.
