    My son is 4 years old and just started Pre-K in August but is having challenges with attention, anger management, etc. His pediatrician doesn’t believe he has autism and suggested Play Therapy. I still wonder if he needs more therapy as I noticed he looks in the corner of his eyes often,flapping his hands when he’s upset only, sensitivity to loud voices. Your videos have been informative and I often get anxiety about navigating this unknown world. Any videos with explaining steps on when to get tested, etc. Thank you so much, Ashley ❤

    Hi Ash I just went through a lengthy process for my 20 year old daughter to access her for possible autism and or ADHD. after 8 sessions and a very expensive bill we found out she is positive for Autism level 2. We had no clue that she may have it but yes she does, and It certainly is interesting because she doesn’t display the typical autistic behaviours.

      @AshtheOT 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Oh really? Wow! Im sure you were in awe of those results. If you dont mind me asking, what led you to wanting to get her tested since you were not seeing typical signs? What signs or indicators were you seeing?

      @@AshtheOT no that's fine hun. She has always had trouble communicating and comprehending what people say to her and what is being asked of her. This has caused her to be very anxious and had a lot of trouble in school and in the work place. Se became very self destructive and I knew that there was something wrong so I looked around for someone who could help her. She has all the tests done and she has indeed level 2 Autism, OCD, receptive language disorder as well. We hare happy that we at least have answers and can now get the help she requires.

    Hi! Thanks for your videos, I really appreciate them ❤ Could you speak a bit about certain behaviors in autism like excitement tremors, upgaze, hand posturing, and other behaviors and how to deal with those as parents? I have a 3-year old autistic daughter and when she's very excited she presses her face unto my arm and has the tendency to softly pinch my elbow skin continuosly. Other times she'll just come and kiss my arm to show affection. While eating, she does an L-shape with her left hand and tilts her head sideways. When she sees something exciting she postures her hands in a pointing manner and does an "angry-like, focused ,tense" facial expression and comes very close to what she is staring at while holding her breath for a bit and then grasping for air. They are several behaviors that I've been told are linked to her autism diagnosis but would like to know your input on these topics and how to treat situations as these. Thank you!
