Absolutely wonderful video. Same quality if not better than many channels with far more views and subscribers, but you go to so many fascinating and interesting places inside Russia that, quite frankly, I would never have thought about. You are quickly becoming my favorite travel channel. Would you ever consider making videos about regions surrounding russia such as Georgia, Mongolia, or some of the stans? or are you going to continue focusing on travel within Russia for the near future?

Keep making those amazing videos, good job man.

The last time I was so fascinated by a landscape was Norway, and I cycled from my home in France to the North Cape. The region is just magnificent and makes you want to do the same. Only the presence of the bears bothered me for the bivouac.

I lived in Russia for about 10 months two years ago, and pretty much love everything about Russia. Except .....the food. I don't like Russian food in general. But I also don't like German/Austrian food, Scandinavian food, just generally Eastern and Northern European fare. I found Russia to be about 1/3 the cost to live there compared to Australia or the USA. I definitely will go back there and am strongly considering moving there.

Suzdal is the place Stalin kept a lot of Hitler's captured generals. The place looks like a fairy tale town and the generals were kept in luxury hotel living conditions, plenty of gourmet food to eat and all. Of course there were bugs all over the hotel accommodations because Stalin wanted to listen in and get a measure of German authority psychology and find out what they really thought of Hitler. Kind of like the Germans occupied British channel islands to study up on what England residents would think of occupying Germans in case of an actual invasion of England itself.

Travel is cheap… if you use an electric scooter… with the military discount.

I would say it's relateively cheap now with this rubbish exchange rate of 100 RUB for 1 EUR. But when ruble gets back to normal - let's say what it used to be until 2014, or at least to what it was in 2019, then it's definitely NOT cheap country.

Have to agree accommodation across Russia is very affordable . I enjoy classic Soviet Hotels and unique style accommodation. I can’t get enough of canteen style food.. fresh unprocessed real food..❤

In South Africa, dont wear flashy things or have your phone out if your are going to walk around the city. Be wary of stopping and talking to strangers in quiet streets. Lastly, its South Africa so its kind off the Wild West where you can do anything until enough people get upset about it or it goes viral. Then authorities will clamp down on that thing for a few months.

One pf the special thing very recognizable in culture of russia and georgia is saying meaningful cheers and showing love and expressing self, it’s not like americans just drinking like for drinking.
