I rank them in the order they were released. I love X, and it's the one I can rewatch the most. I thought Pearl was a good prequel, but it didn't do as much for me. And then MaXXXine I found to be kind of a disappointment after the other two.

As a filmmaker, I really appreciated your review! I liked the first one but the second one really disappointed me. The time travel rendered the conceit of Wade learning to feel like he can be a father with a vibe that's too haptically sweet. That aside, the excitement (or potential) of the action felt hampered by the claustrophobic settings and spaces. And the kid, unto himself, wasn't all that interesting, mainly existing as a symptom of the system that hurt him. But it was amusing; there were some really clever jokes there. Thanks for sharing! Dropping you a like!

The cold open was fantastic! What a way to dive right into the film, it was a great scene.

I would say, I think this looks interesting, and if it were its own thing, I might check it out, but I'm not going to bother because I don't care about the million easter eggs they're going to include and I don't want to have to watch WandaVision to see this.
