Why the students look so old?😭
“The level of education you obtain is the level of dedication you give to it" ❤
I thought this is from students point of view but it's not
I like how the teachers say ask questions if you don't know but when you do they you scold and say why you weren't paying attention
😂 Same
Same here i have panic attack all the time
Kai is so cool

@π Me an underconfident introvert!
I am student and yes I am having problem in trying to ask questions during my lectures
Sometimes I ask questions but afterwards I’m like “Man my voice sounded so weird”
Me an underconfident introvert!
This is something I've dealt with ever since I was a kid. Even to this day, I struggle with it. There's always that fear of getting criticized or bullied or made fun of when you ask a question and you feel so insecure and feel like an outsider. I have ADHD and that makes it worse.
Yeah, especially if I'm asking a teacher about something, when I'm sending them a message about it. And my mom gets involved, I panic so much I cry. I don't want to be that kid who's parents keep bothering my teachers.
man we are both in the same boat. i sometimes visualize of me asking the questions to the teacher. But if we switch to reality i literally stutter because yeah im afraid of being criticized by other people.
your institute has a very unfortunate acronym.
How about overcoming such fear in the *student's perspective*? These are the guidelines for the *teacher's* perspective, right?
Exactly ¿
Concepts of goal setting, prioritizing & breaking larger goals into smaller goals (just getting started on a project) would have made this TH-cam meatier. The analogies of the marathon runner and a jigsaw puzzle completion were adequate.
Students are the focus in this alternative to lecture and discussion or readings/case studies with group activities.
I am a curriculum writer at Montana college and I love your videos. This one on attendance and community is so very important. I have shared the links with the team I work with and offered to help them make their own videos for our students, too. Thank you for being the leader in this initiative.
If penguins learned to drink beer, what would be the favorite beer of penguins, and why?
Class Punk a cold one
Bcz penguins live in polar regions 😂
Fish beer!
I have had Sara Cartmel as a professor before and I ended the semester in that class learning so much about myself including my study habits that work with me, ways of managing time, self-awareness and overall discovering myself in college and embracing it. I use her strategies daily and I feel that they work very well with me.
I appreciated how Elese noted that we all have other roles in life other than our student life and also how she added that we are all part of the collective and our attendance and participation matters. Great video!
