Vivid Frank Martin but its narrative was difficult to relate to the imagery of the 14th century reredos/shrine. Maybe a sequence of detail images from it? Your series fascinates me.

Interesting, but is there any recorded connection between the paintings and the music apart from the title? In other words was Deborah Pritchard stimulated to respond to Maggie Hamblings series? They certainly fit structurally and texturally.

With all the tiresomely irrelevant art featured on music videos in TH-cam it is fascinating to find this series with real associations. Here Martinu certainly captures the Boecklin mood and colouration and adds a narrative.

Delightfully imagined Takemitsu-like composition. Much enjoyed.

This is the wrong statue. The thinker has his left hand resting on his mouth/chin in a thinking position. Slightly similar to Rodin actually, but more nuanced.

Beautiful video of both original drawings by Charles Martin and music by Erik Satie, provided together. Hence, only Satie's comments, that he wrote on the score at various places, are missing to give the whole creation of these great artists. They could be added to the video, but the coordination of text apparitions with the music should follow precisely the score.
