I was talking to a friend about project D2 and he said all the things I liked about project d2 the did in diablo 3 so I played diablo 3 and 4 and hated both of them, it's seems so oversimplified. although 4 was better than 3

What if you run phoenix on weapon AND shield?

Maybe add stun on some skills like blessed hammer to buff them? Also, who uses bash/stun/concentrate on barb? These could need some buffs imo It would be nice to have unique rings/amulets converted in a material for crafts/rerolls, dropping 10 manalds in a row is not fun

arent you missing out on several projectiles by not putting hard points in firestorm? it might be better to equip both the weapon and shield or use ghostflame and focus more on the fire damage

imo not a bad build, weakest part imo is the 0 potential for mf gear in it

I have done this build with delirium instead of ferocity. Survivability is higher if the monsters hit themselves instead of you, it's also a LOT cheaper and gives +2sk. Have you ever tried it?

I like the energy version with bone armor more. Also I really like innocence more. Idk it just feels better when clearing, sure the damage suffers a bite but idk.

Would be interesting to see gameplay video as well. For example any new or modified sets, uniques, bosses, areas, quests, mechanics, runewords and so on. So far we saw just crafting and corrupting. So video could answer question: how much of original Diablo 2 is left and how much is new stuff. For example is new stuff added alongside original stuff so that I am also able to get original D2 experience if I wish to or does new stuff replace original stuff completely so that I am basically playing game that is D2 in name only?

Does your output video settings match your actual screen resolution? It seems like your video is 1080p but your actual screen resolution is more than that. And that seems to be bad for video quality. You could make your OBS base and output resolutions match your monitor resolution and quality at least Indistinguishable and see if that improves the quality. Like you said it looks sharper and cleaner and I was like what am I supposed to see. If you don't like to wast your disk space you can always delete the originals after upload.

Just wanted to say thanks for this video man. As a new PD2 player, I'm finding it's different enough that I feel a little lost with regard to some of the mechanics, where to find stuff, etc. One thing that I think would be helpful would be to go through an actual "league starter" for each class but in a little more detail, like a mini playthrough. The community seems to be made up of VERY experience D2 players and the guides usually assume you know a lot to follow it correctly. Keep it up, this mod is awesome and everyone should give it a shot.

The one thing I chose not go over was the in-game PD2 settings (which my face was covering on the help screen anyway) as the video was getting too long. I will do another video that focuses on this window as there are some important topics to discuss like quick cast and loot filter settings.

One thing id like to add from the discord/character discussion. Crtl-f is your best friend. 99% of your questions have been asked already so finding the answer will often be faster than asking and waiting for a response

This is supposed to be a "teach a man to fish" kind of video. The biggest part of having fun and being successful in pd2 is knowing how to answer your own questions about the game. I felt the best thing I could do is present you with the valuable resources at your disposal :)

Have you tested the difference with using a phoenix shield and earthshaker weapon? It’s been ahwhile but I think Earthshaker has fissure on striking so it would sync well

Do you think this is better than a regular fire druid with Brimstone/Mang's faceted, 163 fcr and etc?

I think allowing Assassins to Dual-Wield Daggers would be dope.

i made a pretty really sick version of this last season with a1 phys merc. definitely go LC's and it wrecks. a1 green goblin style merc is insane with conc also. and youo bring her around with max joust. works wonders

They need to fix this ‘no Lo no Jah’ trading it’s so annoying. And it’s always rune pigs doing it. They fixed this issue with Cham and Zod. Also be good if auras were invisible in character information sheet and merc.

Spot on about alot of things. Zon port hydras and holy builds I really agree on. In general I’d love to see legacy items buffed a lot in an anniversary meta change. Also think a barb totem whit attract benefits for gather mobs would be nice. Maybe even add 1.09 bug items. Cuold be as boss drops or whatever. I think that would be the coolest addition ever. Yeah some of them are too hype but most can work. Also fun cus we had different ones on us and euro servers.

Please buff the chamion Axe as item base. It is basically useless right now. It is frustrating to find a great rare with nice ED and realize the base is crap.

Awesome list! One thing I'd add off the top of my head is how poor the cyclone armor qol is. You can't refresh it with a lower level CA, so if you get a skill shrine and press it, when the skill shrine expires you gotta wait for it to be broken, etc. And it seems to share a cd with teleport, which is not great for telestomping

Make Hustle a Shield Runeword, don't change any of the bonuses, and you'd have a pretty decent item for early game. Alternative late-game Runeword "Rhythm" Jah,Lo,?? - CBF, all res, MF (like Rhyme) with IAS and Damage +X (would work like LoD Grief, Astreon's) also buffs Jah & Lo values Love the idea to add another item similar to Raekors. Theres no unique Bramble Mitts and gloves would be a really interesting slot to use IMO. Although I really want to have Strafe/MShot oSkill in a unique Glove
