Why you don’t like to use peat moss?
Because it's a very limited resource and takes hundreds of years to develop. I do use it a little but I try not to use it whenever possible. Thanks for watching and for your question!
Beautiful i always wanted one.
Thank you! You should get one! They’re usually easy to find around this time of year. Good luck!
Nice looking bulbs! Where do you find the large bulbs that aren’t boxed?
Try checking Trader Joe’s if you have one near you. They’re dipped in wax though. I just bought one for $7.99 and I measured it to be around 36 cm. Only con is they only had red and white to choose from. At least at my local Trader Joe’s And they’re sold online too.
Your charming garden takes me to the world of serenity and tranquility! You are indeed talented! And this is love from your new subscriber! 🥰🥰🥰
Oh my goodness, thank you for your very kind words and for subscribing! Welcome!
Wow~ the beauty of your garden is the melody that fills my heart with joy! 😍😍😍
Thank you! Saving your own seed to grow beautiful plants in future years is very special!
Very beautiful flowers.
Thank you, I appreciate that! August and September are usually great months here in Newfoundland!
Beautiful garden! I have never heard of the Unique hydrangea! Does it stay all white?
@@ralphchapman565, thank you! The ‘Unique’ hydrangea is an older variety. I purchased this one over 20 years ago. It starts out with loose, creamy-white blooms that age to a soft, warm pink. I really do love it!
@@ralphchapman565, thank you! You may not have heard of Unique because it’s a fairly old variety, long before Limelight and all the others that have become so popular. In late fall its blooms turn a soft, dusty-rose.

Hello everyone! Sorry, but I inadvertently said catnip when I meant to say catmint. I hope I didn’t cause too much confusion!
Wow ! I love Fox glove ❤ I tried so many times to plant in my garden but they don’t thrive dear
Thank you so much! They do really well here, I think they enjoy our maritime climate!! 😃

You have a really pretty garden Dawn. I'm going to look for the crimson bedder nicotiana seed next year for my garden. Thanks for sharing, from Alberta.
Thank you so much! I first got my Crimson Bedder seeds from Gaze Seed Co. I plant them indoors about March. They are very tiny and it seems to take a while before they get going. But, when they start, you can almost watch them grow in real time! They start blooming in June and keep on blooming until a hard frost. Now I save the seed from them (real easy to do) and you get hundreds from a single seed pod. Sometimes, I will get one of a different colour but 90% come true. Good luck with it!! They’re one of my favourite plants. Thanks so much for watching!
