This run would be fun if it had snow on it.
that was cool. suggestion/request: can you look back up the trail when you get to the end of a section? it's cool as a viewer to get a look up the terrain you just came down. sorry. I know this is old. but w/e. thanks for the vid. cheers!
I never knew these existed and wouldn’t attempt them either.one of the most dangerous GoPro videos I’ve seen from the east .expert performance
Interesting low traverse approach. I've only come in straight beneath the tram house. Cool variation!
Thanks for letting me ski with you, I miss it. Former Ski Patrol at Stratton VT now retired living in Florida. I have hiked over Jay on the Long Trail in 2015. That video on my channel. Make a run for me next time. Thanks.
Just skied this at my first time ever at shugarbush with my friends. Thin covering but killer trail.
Let's go NE ski! Went to sugarbush last weekend and the snow was tasty!
that looks interesting. I bet getting that first tracks in powder would be epic.
When someone asks me what it means to shred the east, I'll simply refer them to this video.
Loved this trail in my younger yrs,was a great place to view mtns and have a beer n joint.
Done that exact run many times back when all my kids were in the ski school there. You hit a perfect day, most of the time it was ice and rock.
That's precipitous.
Ski the Beast!
Nice work!
The mountain turns for you on that one. Been skiing castlerock my whole life. Rumble is one of my favorites. Can catch some good air off that one rock 🪨
Great send
What's with the rush?
come on bro you make that look like its hard
I'm from the east coast but been out west for a while (Snowbird and Heavenly)... This video made me allow myself to be okay with coming back east permanently with a move up to Jay 🤣 send itt
Jay has the most consistently good snow of any east coast resort. Killington and Stowe are also top notch when their snow is good, but Jay has the best powder the most often. And their glades are the best, especially Timbuktu!
This would be amazing with fresh pow...
Good thing you had those 3 dots to save you from typing that long der.
bruh this is scary
I did this run today. Pretty hard but fun!
Last time I skied the chutes was in '94.
Jay Peak is great
Im not tough enough to ski the east
It takes more work
I kinda disagree with that. I think it takes more skill but less work. The west coast takes way more work but less skill.
@@cccEngineer I've never actually been out east but I always imagine it ranging from hardpack to sheet ice on most days. I don't even want those skills. I toured 2000m today but it was all soft and fluffy.
@@cccEngineerI’d say more work and more skill only because of the fact that it can be so much icier sometimes so you really have to dig down
@@cccEngineer100% NE take more skill than out west but ski the west and your legs are smoked.
Anyone else watching this getting hyped for a ski trip?
I am going here in 2 months i cannot wait, deciding if i should go for the chutes or not
im going here on tusday
I'm going friday
@@royfinlay8114 don't go to jay peak. These are the only steep runs here besides the backcountry areas.
Yes
its so cool to see another vermonter on youtube! I love skiing at Bolton and its been my home mountain for 3 year now!
Those top steep narrow trails look like Mad River Glen trails.
these were my favorite woods at bolton when i lived in burlington
Is that trail hard? Cause it’s the 3 or 4 hardest trail in the east we are heading up their next Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday and Monday I can’t wait!
BurgerKing1 1 yeah it’s tough. Watch out especially if it’s icy.
Man preacher had like no moguls
SoundCzech it’s a lot better this year
Oh I know. For like a couple weeks Bolton was INCREDIBLE. Actually tried devils and finally did it for the first time.
SoundCzech have u ever done Adams solitude?
PuttingHamburgers P00TNAM yes. Did it when it had tons of powder too. One of my favorites.
SoundCzech yea brother. That’s my all time favorite as well
kickass
You fucking ate that run for lunch man... Awesome skiing!
BOLTON 77..Bolton Playground NAN...
Nice recovery at the beginning I thought you were going down, nice run
