Great reaction. This was a one time only performance with a cover of a big song in Japan from 1999, the year Yui was born. She was doing this solo as a special for her 15th birthday celebration at Legend 1999 at the end of June 2013. Legend 1999 was celebrating both Yui's and Moa's 15th birthdays. Moa performed a cover of another song from 1999 called 'Love Machine'.

I really see these words coming from Midori when she is shown, her attitude suits ... Miyako's "Tele-style" guitar was a 'kit' she bought for the beautiful wood grain & put together with support from her guitar-tech. In the 2020 performance both Miyako & Midori play guitars they had hand in building, Miyako this "Tele-style" and Midori plays one of 4 she built in collaboration with classes at each "Guitar Craft Academy" (ESP). She has picture-sets of the projects on her I n s t a. The guitar she plays here is her usual standard-tuning ESP EII Reindeer Blue. btw, ALL LOVEBITES songs are in English, though on their debut EP "Bravehearted" is sung as written by Haruna, in Japanese. Asami assisted Haruna in translating to English for their first full album & it has been sung in English ever since. 🐺 dreg👁

"Bravehearted" is a real classic, it was both on the debut EP (Japanese) and the debut LP (English). It's the only LOVEBITES song by Haruna (originally written for the former band "Destrose", but they disbanded). It's drum oriented, but Haruna should write some song again, it's a great song!

Upbeat songs - I hope it isn't one that was blocked (I saw you had two or three that disappeared as soon as you'd posted them), but don't see 'Amore' on your channel. It is one of Su-metal's solo songs.

There were five members, but guitarist SAKI left around Easter this year. This video is the first Nemophila original song music video with singer Mayu playing guitar. She plays rhythm on a few songs now when the band plays live shows. I was devastated when SAKI left, and it still hurts as the twin lead guitar thing worked so well and the band's dynamic was perfect. But the four piece iteration of Nemophila is doing great and Mayu's voice just gets better. Hazuki now takes full workload on lead and main guitar, while Mayu steps in for those occasional rhythm parts. I'm sure we'll see her playing more in the future, but I hope she'll still get plenty of songs where she's not tied to an instrument and can move around freely, which she does so well. The opening of the video is Mayu and her baby. In the quiet section near the end, we see each band member in turn followed by a photo clip of them as kids. Mayu wrote it about motherhood, as you figured. The other mom in the band is drummer Tamu, who was the first of them to have a baby. She has two kids now, who occasionally make brief appearances in the band's YT videos.

The audio on the MV is awful.

They just released "Beautiful Day". I know at least two band members are Moms and the song is an ode to mothers and their children. I know it isn't a typical Heavy Metal song subject, but Nemophila pulls it off.
