it’s just a colour difference. Congrats on your purchase, You won’t look back. I have one of the original yeti mics and it’s been amazing. The Blue voice app is the only feature that I don’t have; but it doesn’t affect what I do with the mic as I fix everything in post.

Your computer was probably waking up during sleep for updates. That used to be a thing for me. It’s not fun especially when the whole room would illuminate and wake me up. Whenever updates break stuff like my headphones it isn’t fun. Sometimes I have to restart my work computer 3 or 4 times before they work again.

Glad you haven’t noticed issues . Some people are facing issues with the start menu in dark mode, when people search for stuff it doesn’t work properly. Sometimes people have had issues with the menu responding altogether. I have had issues like this in windows 10

Wow you are the second person in the past week that still runs windows 7. Windows 10 and 11 advertised too much to the user and the data harvest was real especially from the web browser. “Do you want a more personalised web experience?” springs to mind.

I did install win11, it worked but it constantly bugged me to log into a Microsoft account even though I chose to use a local account.

You are totally right the unknown is out there; don’t know if it’s possible to handle it anymore. All the best with the squirrels and cats, those are whole new kettle of fish lol. Regards the internet sometimes mine can be a bit spotty, really have to call my provider. I’ve searched the web a bit more “Sony plans to eventually stop producing recordable BD-R discs meant for consumers, but commercial-grade Blu-ray movie and game discs aren't affected.” So I guess we are safe for a while. How long, who knows 🤪

Thanks for the comment. I mainly got my lg home cinema system for the sound. It has 2 tall boy speakers, centre, 2 rears and a sub. I really wanted more than just a sound bar and subwoofer for the living room. What would have been your suggestion?

@@iainirvine LG is a solid choice. If necessary, you could integrate a player of another brand to work with your current LG home cinema. HDMI CEC allows them to recognize each other with some occasional minor hiccups.

I have one of the original silver ones. I can only assume that they are similar to the ones available today. You can’t go far wrong with the Yeti. Definitely worth the money. Thanks for your comment. I just seen there is some great deals on Amazon for the mic with Black Friday.

I haven’t checked out ghub. Will have to give it a go. I tend to record directly to Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, QuickTime and GarageBand. Any changes to the audio needed I would do in post. By what it looks like ghub/blue voice would be used for adjusting vocals for livestreams etc… Thanks for your comment.

Hi, its interesting to know how you found my video. Regarding your fb withdrawl symptoms it sounds tough; did you replace it with something else? At the moment I tend to only use fb/instagram to showcase my photography. Thanks for the feedback regarding the audio; everything sounded fine when I was doing the edit with my headphones; although I did listen again on my home cinema system once it was uploaded, sadly it was a little too late.The mic i'm using is the dji mini transmitter 2, still getting used to it. I'm currently using this platform to express myself and develop my video skills. Each time I'm recording and editing I find myself learning more. Take it easy
