Changing filters fridge, water complete coach, and sacrificing rod
Thank you for this video, all four tabs were out on mine. I snaped it back into place and used a small screwdriver to make sure all the tabs were pressed into place. I didn't have any silicon, so I stuck a toothpick in each corner snaping them off flush to hold the tabs shut. I would recommend this if anyone installs a new one also.
Yep, almost anything will work as long as you keep the tabs snapped into their place. It should work fine. But you gotta make sure to keep them there the next time you change the filter you don’t want them falling out that’s why I use silicone
Do you know how to discharge the capacitor sir? I’ve been looking but nobody explains exactly how to do that part.
Yes, make sure the power is off from the power panel in the RV. You can also turn off the 12 V if you want to, but 12 V is not an issue even if it’s in the box there someplace but make sure the 110 is turned off once you remove the little clips on top of the capacitor. Just take a good size screwdriver and put it across all of the pins. In other words shorting all of the pins on the top of the capacitor that should do the trick. Hope this helps thank you for watching and your comments
@@ACanadianRVereh yes it does help. I did read that some techs just use an insulated screwdriver across the pins. But didn’t know if ya had to hit all 3 pins and at the same time? And if there was a way to ck if that discharged all of what was stored in the cap. I have a multi meter. But it doesn’t have a capacitance setting. Maybe I could just use it to see if there is any voltage left in it. Sorry I sound over concerned. I’m just gunshy because I’ve been zapped several times doing different things over the yrs. I’m older and trying to be wiser now. Thanks for responding sir.
@@toddwyndham7009 another way is to get some alligator clips that are connected through a wire and place them right on the capacitor pins shorting all of them out You can probably get these at any of the surplus stores like Harbor freight or Princess auto in Canada That way you’ll have all the pins shorted out at the same time
@@ACanadianRVereh That is a good idea.
Hi Canadian RVer, I love this video 😍😍 May I use 10 seconds of your video for a video I am making of my home neearby? Timestamp 14:50 to 15:01 I live close to Sanibel Causeway year round and havent gone to the island since hurricane, so nice to see you did a tour.
Yes you may use the video Please share and subscribe Thank you

Combien ça coûte svp,
It’s hard to come up with a price for you because there are so many options and variations. I would like if you would just talk to the sales people and get a very accurate price this way depending on what features you wanted in your coach.
I have an f350 but an f53 sounds pretty serious
7-8 times in 40 milliseconds? Odd metrics but okay
So why didn't you follow the Spendide pubished winterizing instructions?
I did look at them and read them, but I was in the process of doing the whole RV my fridge which is water and ice built into the door and I had a process that worked so I just carried on with the same one thank you for watching and your comments
Can y'all hook it up
Can y'all come and hook it up
Are you installing a brand new system? One of the best ways is wherever you’re located is to maybe talk to one of the dealers that are in your area and one of the dealers might be camping world they do have service people that do come out and we’ll hook it up for you unfortunately I’m not in the same country you are in sorry lol
Mine has done that several times. Crappy design.
Did you put some silicone on the little tabs That might hold it in place Thank you for watching and your comments
@@ACanadianRVereh Thanks for the video. It was very helpful. I just had it happen again. I tried hot glue. Let's see how that works. It installed this time and locked in. I will let you know if it is a long term solution.
@@Charles_Mulberry_7977 yes please let me know maybe hot glue is better I just used clear silicone.
I am bummed. I have no connectors except the 20 amp 12awg wire. Everything else, all those little wires all go into the controller.
Yes, I know what you’re talking It’s a challenge to know what one of those wires do Try to see if you can find a diagram and detail and I’ll do the same and I’ll post it here if I can find my old diagrams thank you for watching and your comments
How did you get the antifreeze into the washer?
When I pressurized my RV with antifreeze, I had a valve that I turned off where the water goes into my residential fridge so that it wouldn’t go into the ice machine As for the washer dryer, all I did is when I had the antifreeze and the pump under pressure on the system. I just ran a wash cycle and once I saw the pink antifreeze in the machine, I put it on drain and I was good to go there because I had enough antifreeze through the washing machine dryer combination And it did the job so you’ll have to do it when you’re pressurizing the system with your pink plumbers antifreeze or just use the pressure air compressor to blow out the water and just go into a wash cycle allowing both valves to open that’s the hot in the cold. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching and your question
That is a stunning coach. IMO a level down from Newell but a level up compared to Prevost motorhomes.
Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts
Muchas gracias amigo me fue de mucha utilidad bendiciones
Thank you so much for watching my video and your comments so glad we could help

No fire pit???
That’s a good question. I can’t remember when I was doing the video if there was fire pits or even fires allowed I think because they’re so close together they might not allow open pit fires. Maybe if you had a sealed propane fire pit that would be OK but that’s a good question Thank you for watching and your comment

My wife and I drove past you, in our 1930 Ford at 1:12. It wears the original paint and interior. Thank you for the great video!
Wow, that’s so cool that you’ve seen the video. I was so impressed with all of the vehicles and how they were restored to have that kind of passion as I would if I had one of those vehicles.Lol. Once again, thank you for putting on such a great show and being a part of it Please share and thank you for your comments Until next year …..
What’s the cost for let’s say a 2023 f350 dually
Sorry, I can’t really tell you the price for 350 Dually I’m sure if you go to the website they must have some costing on there or give them a call and their sales rep and give you the exact price. Thank you for watching in your comments.
Thank you for your tour sir! I am exited to see it's going well down in Florida after Ian
Thank you for watching and your support
@@ACanadianRVereh You're welcome
Wow, I havent been to Sanibel in seven years and the topography has changed dramatically!
Yes, from my first video that I did there to the last video things are still totally changed. Landmasses are a little bit different but I’m hoping in a few more years for them to totally recover. They’ve been working on all the roadways and bridges and the Causeway of course I got washed out. Thank you for your comments.
is it both a rear suspension and a leaf spring all in one? Do I need to remove both of my 2003 E-450 Super Duty RV?
Well, it’s not really like a leaf suspension that you would have now on your class a gas It’s more of I guess a bracket that goes on the back part that then runs on two airbags that you can control the pitch the role and various other bumps that might be in the road I guess is the best way to explain it. I drove a vehicle that year. This video was done at the RV show and it was absolutely incredible. I would say it’s better than a diesel pusher with airbags , a little expensive if you could do the front and the rear and it’s recommended you both it won’t be the same and you won’t get the ride that you’re looking for Hope it explains a little better but you’re gonna have to remove everything off your 450 Thank you for watching and your comments
Comber, Ontario Supercharger!
Yep you are correct thank you for watching and your support
Very well done, thank you so much…😁

lol this looks like a toy car piece of crap
It’s totally a head, Turner
I'd buy one if the price was about ten thousand dollars
The problem right now is if it was any price if you could only get one, the demand is so high and the US in Canada
Waste of a frame sigh.
I take it you don’t like electric vehicles. I have the same thoughts until I try a Tesla and an electric truck. More power, no oil changes no fuel charges. I’m just saying.
Hi Does maps has many features such satellites mapping instead of normal i cons thanks
Yes, you can download all kinds of icons from the Garmin website. I didn’t do it, but I did see them there. Thank you for watching and your comments.
My husband and I went to Sanibel and Captiva Islands in the beginning of July. It is really beautiful, I’m ready to sell my soul to move there. We stayed at a resort right on the beach, and we went to Captiva Island to the beach. The bridge is still closed to non-motorized vehicles.
I totally agree with you. It’s a beautiful beautiful area and I’ve been going down there for quite a few years. That’s why I was down there the first time before the hurricane and then I wanted to go see it a little bit after and then now just with this posting of this video, totally gorgeous. Loved it from the first time I saw it. Thank you for watching and your comments
may I ask where you stayed? thanks
@@sandras712 my homebase was in the Sarasota Florida area, but I would travel down to Sanibel quite a bit love that area

Rich people ruin everything. There was a quaint little enclave of tiny cabins at Wolverine Lake in Michigan where we vacationed a couple of times when I was a kid. We still have a few photos, I wish we had taken more. I was curious to see if it were still there fifty years later. Of course not! Long gone, now all that exists are lakefront homes strangling out everything else. THEY own the lake now.
Yes, I totally agree with you. It’s amazing. What money can do. It was a fabulous little place both for Canadians and Americans to enjoy the island. Thank you for watching and your comments.
How much
I am sorry I didn’t get that information I tried but the office was closed But if you goggled tiny homes in Sarasota you would get there web site Thank you for watching and you question
@@ACanadianRVereh thank you so much
I'm confused maybe someone can help me a little. What part of the video did you actually go for a ride on said very fast boat
I was not able to show any more of this video because it a short and only allowed 1 minute when I say fast you won’t believe the speed Thanks for watching and you’re question
@ACanadianRVereh feel like one mon of you being on the boat would be nicer and yea growing up father had a 37 cigarette
Does it require a 20amp wall plug with the one sideways blade or does it use the 15amp plug that we normally see in homes?
The plug configuration is just a normal one for a 15 amp. It doesn’t need the side blade so 15 amp circuit is adequate for the charger. Thanks for watching andyour.com.
@@ACanadianRVereh Thank you for replying!
Thank you so much you helped me fix my refrigerator
You’re welcome. I’m glad I could help. I had a real challenge with mine too until I got that fixed properly with a bit of silicone on those little tabs. Thanks for watching please share.
Never tape a video holding the camera in one hand while doing something that requires two hands
You got that so right not one of my better videos because I was quite a challenge to do everything with just two people and not enough ladders and equipment so I apologize for such a poor video but yes you’re right. Thanks for watching and your comments.
How old was the one you replaced?
The unit was 4 years old, way too soon for it to be replaced. But when the manufacturer doesn’t put repair valves on the unit to add refrigerant or recapture it’s done Thank you for watching and your question
@@ACanadianRVereh I just put a penguin ii on mine 2 days ago hopefully it last longer than 4 years. I work out of mine and my units don’t stop during the summer
WWWAAAAAYYYYY to much work involved here, It takes one pair of pliers and two men to change a strut.
Yes, I totally agree with you. It was quite a big project and unfortunately not one of my better videos because if I had four hands, I would probably do a lot better lol but it was quite a challenge to get the ladders up get all the pieces we needed and you would need a scaffolding system to do this job properly, so yeah, I would agree with you Unless you really have the patience the people and the equipment. It’s best to let RV place do it but it was a learning experience for me. It’s something I wanted to try. Thanks for watching and your comments.
Hello, I’m having the same issue. Two years now on our Motorhome . Where did you get the stainless steel screening please? Thanks for putting up the video , cheers Eric
Hi Earik where I bought the screen and of course it’s stainless steel so it doesn’t rust or anything. I got it at our local hardware store. We have a chain called home hardware which they had a role of it so I just cut a little piece off and then hacked it down even thinner to go to the air conditioning unit and it worked well. I mean, I haven’t had birds go in there because of Domitic brisk two unit has pretty big openings on the bottom so it was working well for me. Thanks for watching. Just check your hardware stores and see if you can get the stainless steel version.
@@ACanadianRVereh Thank you. We are Ontario Niagara Region. I will go to home hardware
Are lithium batteries optional on this coach?
That’s a very good question because I asked exactly the same thing when I was at the RV show and yes, you can upgrade to lithium ion batteries. If you wish it’s an option. Thanks for watching and your comments.
YOU ARE GOOD, VERY GOOD.THANKS.
Glad we could help thank you for watching and your comments please share
Great explanation. I am getting my RV in two weeks, and I already booked this site as a trial, as I have never RV'd in my life. I used to camp in tents. I am so excited, and thanks for showing all these details, as they will help me a lot.

We flat tow a jeep and love it. Easy to hookup, and to unhook. Go anywhere, and no worries.
Thank you for watching and your comments and for sure every time I see a Jeep behind a class A or any other vehicle that’s being towed. I kind of wonder all the fun they must be having by taking it out off the road and enjoying in another places that other cars are vehicles can’t go.
