    I appreciate you, sis. My city (and even suburban) dwelling loved ones always say, "Well, everybody doesn't have an acre of land, Wapani." My son continually proved them wrong. He lived in a small studio apartment in downtown St. Louis. That man grew strawberries, all types of herbs, tomatoes, and some more inside of his apartment. He even got permission from the landlord to grow outside as well and would share with the neighbors. It just showed me where there's a will, there's a way. I replaced ALL ornamental flowers with either produce (fruits & veggies) or herbs. My household had to go back to the indigenous ways of healing our own body outside of Western medicine.

    I think there is a measuring error, but if it's 1/2/teaspoon for one gallon, then another half should be 1 whole teaspoon and not 1 table spoon as stated.

      I wouldn't recommend it. The citric acid can burn the leaves especially in sunlight that is why you dilute it in water.

    I'm wonderring if mice or squirrels try to get in there. The squirrels dig in my beds in general if I don't use habanero pepper sprinkle mix on them. I suspect mouse get in my garage in winter. I'm in Detroit, MI.

    • @countrylivininthecity2246

      I had to get my garage sealed because mice were trying to get inside. but before that happened, I used cayenne pepper around the the boarders or I would soak so old rags with turpentine to deter them from coming in. The turpentine works the best if you can stand the smell yourself. I use poles with turpentine cloths to deter birds as well duting the summer. They hate the smell. Thanks for your support😀

    best to use straw, plus I have not been in WalMart for over 5 years, will never got to China Walmart. I done this last year, not the best way, they got wrinkle had to throw many of them out. So no I would not advise this method.

    • @countrylivininthecity2246
      @countrylivininthecity2246 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the comment but that has never happened to me because i make sure they are in a dark, dry place at the right temperatures. Straw is just as effective or ever paper. The wrinkling of your potatoes doesn't come from hay it comes from not having them at the right temperature for storage. The same thing will happen what ever you store them in, if the temperature is not right
