We must stop with the division of where we are from. Please take a look at a map pre colonialism. The Americas include North America, South America, The Caribbean, Canada., and Alaska. We are all Indigenous Amerukans. Much love to all of you.
I have a question regarding ARAWAK and LOKONO ancestry. Years back I had a DNA test by Family Tree. I now know I have 25% Guyana DNA which is the most of any other traits in my lineage. How can I find if I have ARAWAK or LOKONO ancestry? I have 2% TAINO and listed as such in my report as NAtive American but in the Guyana they didnt listed any such relation. I am assuming that this was another way to make more money on added tests. How can I confirm the native lineage of Guyana? Any one have any Ideas? I get totally nothing from asking any where else like Im a leper or some thing.
It's just amazing and wonderful...!!! Thanks for sharing. Greetings from Latin American Music Network of Rubén Jaramillo Ménez Autonomic Cultural Institute, Morelos, Mexico.
I'm pretty sure i have arawak heritage, this song is beautiful, I don't even think you need the translation. Close your eyes and image the story that is being told
Yes, this music is an original and real music from the Arawaken / Lokono's tribe from Suriname. Walaba tokorho is a beautiful flower of a tree. The music is about: The flower "walaba tokorho" is as beautiful as my wife, My wife looks as beautiful as the flower "walaba tokorho", That's all I have my wife who is as beautiful as the flower walaba tokorho.
@@eshasharma2683 Ehei, hes right in his translation. There's a couple books I used to learn Toh Loko Ajianiwa. The first being "LOKONO-ARAWAKS" ebook by Damien Corrie and the second is "A GRAMMAR SKETCH AND LEXICON OF ARAWAK by William J.A. Pet. The first book is from guyana and the second from Suriname, so there will be some differences. Hope your project went well!!
❤❤❤❤❤
Really love this - the vocal tone is so appealing to me
