Great tutorial. Thanks!
Reverse lockout is the biggest pain in the ass. Worst thing, put it on wrong and took hours to do.
What did you use to compress the caliper?
Try in a RHD car
Nice
I have Audew tyre inflator. It has stopped working and now it is showing ERR massage. Please help me to fix this problem if you know.Thanks.
your opener made me realize how dumb I am lol - good video- thanks
U skipped the major part.. poor video. Next time include the complete steps
the 007 nod was great lol if you know you know
thanks!
2:26... I was a bit high enjoying your video and then got sobered up for a sec am I going crazy or did this instruction video just turn into a bloodbath - by chaulkgun and all is red... am I crazy.. ahh.. just a nice side joke.. good one I'm back in focus! :)
How do you undue the reverse lockout clips on both sides? I cannot get it
Great simple video, no yapping. Very helpful
For the money, that is a great MOD. It works for form as well as function, because of it's aerodynamic property's. Thanks for posting, it looks great!
another thing is my rear left shocks connector got damaged. i have no idea how to find the wire harness that has both the electric shock absorber connector as well as the abs sensor connector, please assist where you can?
Good night, i neeed some assistance. i have a 2009 vw cc 2.0tsi im not getting the kick out of it when i press hard on gas pedal. i had changed the fuel pump and the coil packs because they were giving problems. now i want to change the charcoal filter but im not too certain if it has a fuel filter along the gas line. if so can you help me to find it so i can replace it?
I’m a little unclear about the order. Do I buff out the first color coat then add clear or do I add clear to the already high paint and then buff. I’m using VW pens and the keyhole cover as practice (it’s plastic anyways). Also for a scratch on the bumper down to the plastic, I’m assuming no primer is needed (just the 2 coats)?
Great video brother! New SUB! 👍
Nice video, thanks for the tip about turning off the A/C 👍🏾
Easy enough ty
Great video! What is the part number for the pump?
Loosen it up *in the voice of the gate keepers of hell*
lucky to find this video
So do I need t25 t30 unstead?
Great video!! Will try fixing mine this weekend. What mm size clamp should I get?
Pin out?
What is the time difference needed to be maintained between painting and applying clear coat?
Just did it! Some other videos kept referring to the recycled air actuator as the blend door actuator so I accidentally replaced that one first :/ When I went to replace the actuator behind the steering column I found that it had been unplugged... When I plugged it in (sure enough) it made a clicking sound. So I guess someone took the easy way out and just unplugged the actuator and didn't mind that that the windshield defrost wouldn't work. I fixed it though! Your video was super helpful, Thanks!!
Nooooo they aren’t available on Amazon 😮
Bro as soon as I saw the opening but where you were putting more and more fuel and I was like yeah is my problem that’s exactly what I did and that’s exactly how I looked doing it
Do you still have them on? Thanks
Any more detail on the hook that goes into the back of the canister? That seems to be a sticking point in removal.
Aren't they T-25?
Helped a lot! Thanks!
will the vw sensor work on a 2008 750li?
Not totally sure, cross referencing the sensor part #s may help.
Baby you have that many in a year or two.. lol. I’m going to take my paint pen to my dent guy, I don’t trust myself... omg there’s layers 🤦🏻♀️ I hope he has these “compounds” and wax.
Thank you!
bro i just started the project of doing the 4 control arms it’s been straight hell 😮💨😭
For sure, it can be a pain. Especially with stuck bolts and ball joints. A big breaker bar and decent ball joint separator help a lot!
how did they turn out, good quality?
They worked great. Sold the car about a year later so can’t comment on long term performance.
Don't put 87 in a cc.
Why work on ur knees on hard concrete floor when you have a lift to avoid that? 😅
great work.
Where did you get these torque figures from?
Looked them up online, took some searching to find the right values
Tuned In 💯💯👍🏽
Such a relaxing video lol
Thanks! If only doing the installation was as relaxing! Glad you enjoyed the video.
@@diyauto3413 💯 I'm about to do my fronts today 🤙
I lost the T40 inside the door when removing it!
Bummer! Hopefully it didn’t rattle around too much!
Just make sure when installing the head of the shift knob that the notch at the top of the shifter underneath the knob is facing at the six o’clock position and of course like he said in the video that the reverse lockout is facing in the correct position. Stapling is definitely the most difficult part unless you have a good stapler and staples. If you miss your mark and don’t center those staples in the thinner portions of the plastic where they’re supposed to go they just won’t go in properly or at all.
Thanks for the tips! Stapling is definitely the hardest part.
Thanks for sharing the video. What size of the ball joint separator would you need to remove the arms?
We used a Schwaben 12-56mm separator which worked great
Oh you forgot to mention the HELL that is trying to remove the lower strut bushing.....
Great video too by the way.... Is there a difference in the "G" and "E" speakers? Do they all have to come from the back doors or can you use the two from the front doors? I found a set of 4 all from the same car for 70 bucks and didn't know if I can use both the 1CO 035 411 E and the 1CO 035 411 G.. thank you
Not totally sure on the differences between those, we got our technical info from this site e38.weebly.com/speakers.html I didn’t see him mentioning a difference between the two. Good luck and glad you liked the video!
