Its burnt damn old school should have took the fire down some😂😂😂😂
So many negative nasty comments... Happy Thanksgiving brother✌🏾
Burning fire wayyyy to high
Fire management
You dont flip turkeys? Only when your offset smoking.. When your grilling over direct fire; you have to flip 😂… And you shoulda have spatchcocked the turkeys if you were going to grill it over the fire so you can flip n cook it evenly
If your gonna get a pit that big; you’ve might as well got an offset smoker
Happy Thanksgiving !!! I hope you and your family have a great day and enjoy your meal.
Fleece Johnson ain’t it ?
I was very impressed I love that grill omg he was putting in some work
Brent Sanders got me one from you and it was so good it didn’t make it to thanksgiving
🙏🏼 amen everyone has there own way of cooking so it this is how you do it Do it. Enjoy and happy thanksgiving From Texas .
Thats with different sauces/rubs.. But its only one right way to BBQing.. Thin Blue Smoke is the standard.. Not dirty thick grey smoke
Blue smoke is considered the ideal smoke color for smoking meat. It results from a clean and efficient combustion process, producing a bluish tint in the smoke. Blue smoke indicates that the wood is burning at the right temperature and that the meat will absorb a mild, delicate flavor without being overwhelming.
@@Aaron.Davis56 Technically true but we’re going with our uncles 75+ years experience. Thank you for viewing our channel. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Oh well
Looks like he's throwing cold wet turkeys (Huge No No) on the grill any witch away. Some back down, some breast down, and will cause different cook times. Just nitpicking but this is not a cooking channel. That thing needs air flow.
People this is why they make and sell Cranberry Sauce!!!!!!
Looks like fire is way too hot! if you need a water hose!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can tell by looking at your Meat you cooked way to Hot!!!!! Hickory wood burn Hot i cook with Red Oak!!!! better results!!!
There Alot of negative comments.
Nice Stay Bless
@@rembertdash2939 Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Dirty smoke, no seasoning probably no brine but everybody got they on styles but he can’t mess with me at all!!!!!
He cooks like a Newbie
Looks like that meat went through a house fire
No way those Turkeys were done and safely edible in a couple of hours at 200 degrees. Too much direct heat cooking
They cooked all day. It wasn’t 2 hrs. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
He bbq as you say, that's not smoking and putting water on your fire isn't good and you need to redo your doors you losing to much smoke. And I wouldn't dare smoke any meat at 200 degrees. Y'all have a lot to learn about smoking
I wouldn't let my dog eat off that grill
Happy Thanksgiving. That looks like a Hot Mess, but taste is everything. The temperature of 150 is too low to render fat and the smoke is dirty, lack of airflow. 250-275 is better for poultry. You're cooking on a Big @ss grill. If he modified it and added an offset box and damper stack, that could be a bad @ss smoker.
165 for poultry.......
@@speaknoevil957 What are you talking about, internal temp. I said 150 is too low to render fat since she said the cooker is 150 degrees. Focus and Happy Thanksgiving. And yes 165 Internal for white, 170-180 for dark.
@Aaron.Davis56 Whatever.......
I have nothing negative to say keep it up nice bbq pit A lot of people don’t understand cooking a turkey over coals is way difficult than on and offset smoker it’s risky and hard hard work. Especially when the grease fall over hot coals your going to get the white smoke and the meat will be darker but still taste good. Congratulations and you’ve got another subscriber
@@joelifesince91 Thank You ! You have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Those things are burnt 🔥.
This looks like some real old school generational cooking, especially when @2:42 mentioning coon meat! These are some interesting traditions, where did you grow up??
Your uncle and my family grew up on smoking raccoon it is an acquired taste😎👏😮
Cook them Up and Make People Happy 🎉🎉❤😎
I want to see a video of someone eating that 😂
@@brownlee-ve2uy I’ve already tasted it. It’s MOIST and DELICIOUS! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
@@SiblingsAJgarden I sure hope so thats doesnt look too good
I broke a leg running to the comments
SOMEBODY SEND THIS TO LES BBQ 😂
@@Jr-cj2vz In everyway don't do that
@Mybizzness-g1p WE NEED THAT TEXAS IN EVERY WAY FEEDBACK LOL
What would you call that kind of smoker doesn’t even have a fire box
A Grill
@moneymitch-kj8ix when ever you "smoke" something you cook it indirect
@@ajcastillo9097 it don't need a firebox but either way he don't know what he doing
Sorry but I’m not impressed!
For everybody saying that that looks fantastic the truth is the meat looks a hot mess... Ova Smoked and burnt... I will admit there was a point that the turkeys had good color and he should have wrapped them at that point cause the COOK went drastically Wrong
Lot of dirty smoke
Exactly
What is dirty smoke? What causes that?
Burnt meat!!! Flame way too hot. Probably was dry . And you do turn your turkeys!!!
@@danielthompson2238 Actually the meat was very moist when we cut it to freeze for Thanksgiving day. As for turning the turkey’s, do you turn yours when you bake them? Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Now brother them turkey are a lil burnt
@@sherrigilliam7835 Lol trust me they weren’t. They were so moist & delicious.

Nice looking meat ..what Size smoker is that..
Thank you 😋
Never thought to smoke a turkey for Thanksgiving. My son has this tiny little Bradley that I just fixed enough to use it on some cheese and salmon. I have about 2 days to convince them.
Happy holidays! You should it.
You will love it just make sure he keeps it moist with some kind of fat.
Thats not a smoker that's a direct fire pit bro. A smoker has a fire box for indirect heat. Lmfao
@@williebates3398 It’s technically true but it’s ALL ABOUT the temperature & cooking time. When you smoke it’s slow & low heat! Enjoy your Thanksgiving!
@@SiblingsAJgarden whatever you have and if it works for you, that’s all that matters😎
I learned something new today. Fire is Blue Smoke and Smoke smoke is White. 🤔I've been doing wrong🤣
@ when it comes to smoking meats, we y’all learn the or Two 😎
@glennevitt5250 you can't smoke when you're cooking over direct heat. Lmfao
