What size bolts hold that servo cover ?
Thanks for the video. Can you tell me what gender kit/light kit you used? Trading my 09 in for an 18 on Friday. It stock still
What fairing sliders did you use and where can I find them?
They are T-Rex Racing sliders www.t-rex-racing.com/2017-2019-Honda-CBR1000RR-No-Cut-Frame-Sliders-p/n37-17.htm
Thank u
I hope it helped!
Dude thanks great video just dropped out my servo hope my Akrapovic gp exhaust isn't as loud as your's....... lol your bike is sick
Thanks bro. I'm glad I was able to help out. It really is a breeze replacing the exhaust.
How do you remove the plastic cover from the servo motor?
I didn't remove the cover. I loosened it and told the whole servo out in one piece
Hello friend, if I disconnect the servo from the plug and put a servo-eliminator, would the silencer valve remain open with the serie exhaust? I did it but when circulating with the fireblade I did not open the valve after 90 km / h as if it were closed, do you know what I could do?
Honestly, I am not sure. What would happen. Maybe you should ask a service tech from the Honda dealership.
@@marcelog.8571 It works fine, but I would like to disable the exup valve, thank youu
Gr8 vid... the pipe sounds wicked!
Thanks bro. 👍👍👍
where do I go for a "flash tune?" just any bike shop?
Austin O'Brien Go to your nearest Honda dealership and they will recommend someone.
To tell you the truth sounds good with the stuck muffler too.
In my opinion, the video does not do it no justice. If you heard both the stock and Toce exhaust live, you would notice a huge difference.
Moto Marzzz is true but i have the same cbr like yours same color and i remove the servo but i live the stuck exhaust for now and without the servo sounds good to.
@@businessman953 Ohh ok I havent heard it without the servo before.
@@businessman953 you should post a video. Im sure some people would like to know what it sounds like (Me being one of them lol).
Moto Marzzz i yes put a video you can go to my channel and see it
Where did u get the phone mount from?
Ram stem mount cell phone holder. I got it through Amazon. The stem itself though is not big enough for this bike. I went to Lowes and got a rubber plug in the plumbing section.
Thank you
Bro can you do a video on tank removal? I have having a difficult time reattaching the top plastics with the Allen bolt. (The one that has the Honda badge on it) I’ve done it before but it took forever to figure out. I’ve been trying for like 3-4 hours this time and still can’t figure it out
what model year is your bike?
What is the servo for what is that anyway?
The servo is a motor that opens and closes a valve in the exhaust. Its purpose is to maintain power and torque by creating pressure.
@@marcelog.8571 thank you, boss. I am your bitch now. Just subscribed
have you noticed any issues starting since you removed it?
Just a little power down low but I know that's normal until it gets flash tuned.
Awesome video and great helpers too! My wife recently surprised me for Father’s Day with the same bike. I’m thinking of going with the M4 or Toce exhaust. Is the servo necessary to add or will the ECU flash take care of the CEL if I decide to do that? Enjoy it and ride safe!
You will need some sort of servo bypass module if removing the OEM exhaust without the flash tune. Once you flash tune it, you can remove/shut off the servo fault setting. once you flash tune it, your new exhaust will sound better and the servo bypass module will no longer be needed.
where did you get that servo buddy ?
toceperformance.com
Thx
Good luck buddy!
What brand frame sliders ?
T-Rex racing
What's the elimintor kit that u have on ur bike ?
its a chromeglow cbr1000rr 2017 fender eliminator kit. Here's the link to chromeglow. I chose the smoked, tucked option with integrated red and yellow LEDs: chromeglow.com/products/brake-lights/by-bike-brand/honda/honda-sport-bikes/cbr-1000rr-led-fender-eliminator-kit-17-up/
Great video .very helpful .just about to fit a racefit to my wife's fireblade sp
Im glad it's helpful. Im here if you have any questions.
I just ordered my Toce today for my cbr1000, can’t wait, but it’s gonna be a long winter in Ohio till I’m out on the road
💪 Should get the ECU Flash available with it! Eliminates the need for the eliminator, and makes roughly +17 whp Thanks for joining to Toce Team!
Toce Performance I’ll probably send it in before spring, I just wanted to get it installed so I could hear it. This thing sounds mean! Thanks.
Hi i have the exact same bike and same colour aswell when put arrow exhaust and mid pipe the bike feels like it lost power down low i was wondering if you had the same issue
I do feel that it lost a bit of power. Did you remove the servo motor? From my research, the 2017 cbr1000rr models do loose power when replacing the exhaust because you have to eliminate the servo motor. I recommend flash tuning your ECU. I will be working on flash tuning my own ECU either this coming summer or the next to regulate the fuel mixture and unlock more power and adjust a few other settings.
@@marcelog.8571 Let us know what platform you're going to go with, we would be happy to send you our base maps if possible so you have a good tune to start off of! Thanks for this video! Mind if we post it on our site?
@@TocePerformanceExhausts I'm a huge fan of your products. I def would appreciate those base maps and would make a video about it. Not sure which platform to use yet, which one do you recommend? I have looked into a few, but decided to hold off until springtime. You can absolutely use this video on your site.
@@marcelog.8571 I would roll with a Woolich Racing Kit to be honest. Their support and interface is the best by far.
Keep the videos coming!!
iriceG1 will do. Thanks my dude.
Great video. I hope you keep doing more videos.
Domingo Alvarez Thanks bro. I plan on it!
@@marcelog.8571 Hey man I also have a "17 fireblade. I heard that the bike has a 2nd cat in the mid pipe area, is that true? Can I get a delete for this or will i just have to get a full system headers and all?
@@ibraheem6079 As far as I'm concerned, the piece I took out was the exhaust piece and the servo motor. The delete is for the servo motor so it doesn't create a trouble since the ECU is looking for it.
Hey man. I have the exact same bike and have been thinking about that Toce exhaust. Looks so awesome on the matte black bike! Looks like your install went nice and smooth. How long have you been running the Toce? Would you recommend it? Thanks for posting the video.
Bradly McComb, First and foremost, I want to thank you for watching my video. I have been running the bike on the Toce for about two weeks now. I highly recommend getting this exhaust with the servo eliminator that is included directly from the TOCE website. On the cbr1000rr forums, several people had issues with the replacement of the exhaust. From my research, the 2017 cbr1000rr will send out an error light unless you use a servo eliminator. Overall, the installation took about a 1/2 hour. One thing about this exhaust; it is LOUD.. The video doesn't really show how loud it is. Some people may not like how loud it is, TOCE does sell DBKillers. Personally I love loud exhausts. I want my bike to stand out from the rest. In this case, my 1000rr sounds like a monster. I'll be doing a comparison video with the fly by included sometime next week. I'm here to help and answer any questions if you decide to replace the exhaust.
Moto Marzzz Thanks for the reply! Ride safe.
Bradly McComb hi, i have the same bike as well and I tried the sc project and this toce and like he said, they’re loud, if you like ear ringing these are the exhaust for you. I don’t like really loud exhaust, if you don’t like loud go with yoshimura or akrapovic, they sound amazing and everyone can handle that loudness. I have the 17 CBR1000RR with yoshi and a 17 R6 with akrapovic and mid pipe, no cat and it sounds awesome and not to loud.
@@joseperez84 The Akron and Yosh exhausts have a nice tune to them. They actually start to get real loud once RPMs reach 7k. Id really like to hear what a SC project sounds like on the cbr. I bet it's just as loud.
Moto Marzzz it’s crazy loud too, i had it before
