Lovely, Fr Brian! Seems you are familiar with Richard Rohr - both/and. Creation, (that includes us!) is inseparable from God. God is always present to us in myriad ways every moment of the day. It is we who must pay attention to those little moments that present to us (as the baby experience you described). It is impossible to do so, without the grace of God. It is God's grace at work in all of creation,in ourselves, in our suffering, in our brokenness, in our failings, AND in our joy, our love, our growth. BOTH/AND, the horizontal balance of the CROSS. Grace is the "glue" that unifies. When we recognize it in our lives, as the baby story, it is God we see in the action, in the Spirit, thru Christ, that we see. All we can give to God, is Gratitude for it. As it is blessing to be shared. That is the way we nourish one another , that unifies, and permeates the community with grace. Sorrow shared decreases. Happiness shared increases. May we add increase to the Presence of God, by sharing. I am grateful. Carmela Bergman

Architecture reflects the heart! With love and respect: Your Church is Vatican II ugliness! Why not fix it? Doesn’t look Catholic at all? Why? Coupled with a messed up Mass, where do the people find peace from the world? Looks like a Taco Bell! 😢🤮

I am reminded of the Nazis and the way so many were silent when they started to ban and burn books. No one wanted to go up against them. Now we have entire states banning books and telling parents what they can and cannot do with and for their children. We are being told (in those states) what we and our kids can and cannot read. What they can and cannot do to help their kids. It's censorship and how the Nazi regime started to rise and gain power. A large swath of Christians not only stand silently by but actually support when politicians disparage immigrants, make fun of the handicapped, stoke fear and lies to get elected. All we need do it read Matthew 25 to see what Jesus wants of us. It's all pretty simple.
