Very good guys, great coverage of the GOAT of local events, looking forward to my fourth appearance at the Blue Goat course this year
Thanks Jack - more to come, and good luck with the Goat this year
Hi paul long time
I've had to tape up the hydration bladder hole in my Overlander, I found in heavy rain and wind the sewn in cover didn't keep the water out, once taped up all good, would be an idea to offer the in pack hydration set up as an option, putting a water bladder in a pack just isn't that smart. It's an awesome pack, the only other I struggle with the miniscule sternum strap clip, with cold wet hands it's dam awkward, forget it with gloves on. On recent OLT it attracted a lot of attention with people mistaking it for a Hyperlite. Ask would I buy again, yes but bigger sternum buckle and sew up the hydration hole ! 👍
Fair point. We can supply some tape to close the bladder hole if needed. I will look onto the sternum strap as well. Thanks for the feedback. we will factor it in as we continue to develop these packs
@@robertinshaw3442 I've been told sail repair tape would do it, current using Gorilla tape from Bunnings but it doesn't stick to the pack material very well.
Wow this is a great vid! Nice one!
Thanks glad you liked it
The "some Katoomba st locals" description of the run4eva crew was a very generous way of saying complete degenerates 😂 Pilliga was amazing, great vibes in an amazing setting. Get around it next year everyone!
Very easy to listen to. Love the shoe review.
Yeah we are doing that. I will publish a video in the next week which has all the behind the scenes of the Wiollemi pack. It is an amazing pack. I just carried it on a 6 day hike and it is so comfortable
Bro. This needs more video to make me want to buy it.
Regarding sizing, i wear salomon and hoka 43+1/3 and i went 44 with jackal.
You still thinking of using it for UTMB
Hi Mike, I am currently planning on using them for half the race. I plan to change shoes around Courmayeur just to get try and get a change in presure points. I just have to decide to I wear them on the first half or the second half - I am thinking second half at the moment
Thanks for the video. I don't boulder myself, but more power to you. I do hike, and interested in the pack, but this particular video did not promote it, nor mention its features. Would welcome another video walking us through the pack in detail. Thx
Yeah but how do you know what size to order. These guys left out the most important detail for ordering shoes. Good job. Not sure why its so difficult find this out.
What is the lug depth on these?
Hi David the Lug depth is 3.5mm. Also the heel stack height is 29mm and forefoot is 22mm
When will these be available again? The initial release appears to have had very low production numbers leaving most of us waiting and wondering. Word has it the likely won't be available until the first of 2023. Let's hope they boost their production numbers so we can give these a try!
Wish you guys did some more videos/photos of your gear :)
