Our church is looking for ways to build bridges to a cynical and jaded society with compassion and zeal for the lost and hurting.
Believing that you are the one is very important. In reaching out to people and helping them along the way, we aim to take a different approach. To communicate the church message, we use a variety of media and means. It’s very important to believe that you’re the one.
Loving God:
The Mission of the AME Church is to minister to the social, spiritual, and physical development of all people.
The Purposes are:
The ultimate purposes are : (1) to make available God’s biblical principles, (2) to spread Christ’s liberating gospel, and (3) to provide continuing programs that will enhance the entire social development of all people.

Parks Chapel AME Church in San Fernando is the second largest predominantly African American church in the SFV of Los Angeles. The church is led by Reverend Kirkpatrick Tyler, Sr. Pastor. Reverend Tyler is a dynamic, faith-based leader who focuses on youth empowerment and community building.
We are privileged to have the deeply talented Logan Johnson as our Minister of Music. She leads our gospel choir.
