What are they talking about when they say “slick”?
The smooth area in the water. Bait activity
Actually if you listen to around 1:00 mark, he tells you why a slick has formed. Also smaller slick has a meaning as well as a bigger one compared to fish location.
A slick forms when the fish are feeding so much that they regurgitate some of their prey and it forms an oily patch on the top of the water. It usually smells like watermelon.
Thank you sir!!
Yessir!!
Sell overpriced lures and seminars?
Hello Mr Cisneros, nice to hear from you again, you catch fish anywhere regardless the conditions! 😊😊
Z man for the win 🎣
Grew up on the coast and fished a LOT with my dad. Lived Rockport during hight school at City By the Sea and fished Estes flats all the time. Fishing sure seemed way easier back then compared to now. Granted, we don't get down nearly enough to be up on current fish patterns but there is also siginifcantly more people fishing now than there was in the 70s and early 80s and that has to take a toll on the population.
Thanks great info

Very nice catch 🪝👏👍😎!!
Nice trout there

Love the Laguna hat!
being a woman, it is hard sometimes to get that plastic out there far enough on a baitcast. I always have my spinningcast on the boat but it's got a popping cork set up. will definitely try this this weekend and set up my spinningcast with some plastic without a popping cork. thx!
The slot size for retention is targeting female trout. Rarely do buck trout get over 14 inches. All the pressure will be targeted at spawning age female trout. TPW protected female flounder with the closure of November to retaining a flounder so that more spawning could occur. Why not use this same logic on trout? Especially since the first time the 15-25 inch slot did not result in a substantial increase in trout populations?
now i know. thanks!
thank you for the demo!
