@@AmanoPioneerEclipse This epoxy has been applied to concrete floors in a storage facility in the hallways. They have been scuffed up from people dragging things, from cart wheels, dollies etc. We are looking to rent this machine from Home Depot, but want to be sure it will not damage the floor, and the Home Depot staff aren't as knowledgeable with the specifics of this product. Do you think it would be safe to use?

@@diamondsangel4369 The FM Floor Polisher can be used on a floor you described. The machine itself will not damage the floor. Successful cleaning or restoration of the floor is dependent on the cleaning or scrubbing pads, solutions, and the processes used. This machine can be used for concrete restoration, but I don't believe concrete restoration tools or processes are applicable to epoxy coatings.

Burnishing and cleaning pads are color-coded based on the pad fiber, texture, density, and other characteristics. Each pad has different application based on the intended function, ie cleaning, polishing, stripping, etc, as well as the floor type and the type of coating applied. There is no one answer to your question, there are several factors to consider.

The machine should be setting flat on a level surface to check the oil.

Are Propane buffers easy to use ?

I been only using past 3months it's a new job for me .not hard to use & there not hard on propane

For our Pioneer Eclipse propane powered machines we recommend Sentinel Synthetic 10w 30 oil specifically engineered for propane powered engines. Here's a link to the product page: pioneereclipse.com/accessories/propane-engine-oil/ Using an oil like Sentinel that is designed for propane engines can reduce the frequency between oil changes. You will want to check the operator's manual of your machine for the recommended oil.

Good question Javier. According to @propanetechgreg in our technical services department, most of the time they can be removed by hand rubbing the burn with a pad center and spray bottle filled with water or glass cleaner. Sometimes it requires stripping a small section of floor and recoating. There are lots of opinions on this and rightfully so considering the myriad of floor types, finishes, pads, machine pad speed and pressure, operator travel speed, humidity, ect. Keep in mind, the main cause of burn marks is the operator walking too slow for the machine rpm.

The 400BU is a burnishing machine. If you need to grind and polish, it is best to use 3" diamond discs with the 225GP or 420 GP. If you have a 17" or 20" floor machine or an auto scrubber, you can use 5" diamond discs attached to a burnishing pad to grind and polish marble and concrete.
