A playlist for debugging only will be interesting! Saying hi from MX:)
Awesome idea, thank you !!
Why learn all this Python when u can just use ansible. I don’t get it. I’m a 4 year network engineer heck learning ansible playbooks basically allowed me to immediately be proficient at cloud formation .yaml template atre easy. I don’t get all the extra Python scripting. I just like to make money fast as possible, I cannot learn all day.
I use and enjoy Ansible, yet it should not stop me from using or learning Python. This is for the same reason people chose to learn Spanish, or French for example. At the end of the day, it will add value and enhance skill sets.
I am surprised to find that I am the only troll to mention you didnt use a wild card mask for the ospf network statement! Obviously thats not the context and I understood the video very well. Thank you for taking the time!
Fair point you make. Typically, stiff wild card and authentication is best practice, as well passive interfaces and tuning areas to stubby if necessary. However, since purpose was not OSPF routing demo, I did cut corners 🤓
Why would you allow SSH on ALL interfaces instead of just the management and console interfaces?
A little context for my question ---- for the last 10 years I have been exclusively in the packet-broker business as part of an InfoSec team, but find myself back in the job market and trying to catch up on the latest Cisco technologies.
Fair question ! ALL in this case, is for traffic coming in through ALL interfaces and not to all of them. Best of luck with your catching up, I recommend looking at automation also.
Thankyou! Clear explanation.
@@amilasamaraweera6209 you are welcome, glad it helps.
Hello 😊 How to clear config A9K-RSP440-TR ??? 🙂🤔

What program do you use for the lab where you have 2 routers? 50:49
@@markostetner1950 Using EVE-NG, but you can also use GNS3 or Cisco own CML-P.
thanks for the demo

thanks for the explanation and demo, excellent

very helpful for ios-xr beginner , thanks.
You are welcome!
thanks for the explanation and demo. does the ibgp need to configure next-help-self in ios-xr? Or such cli is not required in iox-sr?
No, eBGP on XR requires and RPL inbound and outbound before prefixes are exchanged. Next hop self in same use as in IOS.
thanks for your video

Hello. How to configure DHCP SERVER ? Cisco tutorials are very complicated and unintuitive. Can you show a script?
I have a video covering DHCP config and validation: th-cam.com/video/DG3ISXIcT3I/w-d-xo.html
Do you have a complete course for enarsi
Not yet, working on it.
thank you so much for this it was simple and straightforward
You are most welcome, glad it helps.
i have a problem in State/PfxRcd not change value ??
If your BGP session is established, male sure you have a route-policy allowing prefixes. This is necessary in XR but not in IOS.
Thanks!!!
You are welcome!
Hi sir, What is the name of the application you are routing with? How did you arrive at the CSR1000V CLI?
I was using Cisco VIRL, now Cisco CML. You can use EVE-NG or GNS3. Secure CRT was used for telnet access to the demo router.
how can I make VPC dhcp client. thanks for the video.
You are welcome, thanks for watching. When VPN is accessible, just type ip dhcp at the prompt. You should see DDORA process, then IP address and GW. Let us know if that works for you.
great job, thanks
Many thanks for watching and your comment, happy it helps.
Excellent video !!! Thank you.

Great stuff, great video ! It really boosts my interest in working with Python and made me even more interested as being a traditional engineer performing all my tasks direct from the command line. so thank you a lot for this . more of these videos are appreciated !

This video is classic. It is well-defined and clear. Thank you.
Thanks a million for watching and your kind words, I am glad you got something out of it !
can you enter rd and rt globally like in ios xe or it must be in each address family?
Unlike IOS and XE, in XR RD must goes under the VRF definition (under BGP process). RT however is defined when you are configuring your VRF globally.
Excellent quality video. Thank you.
You are very welcome, glad it helped !
59 minutes well spent Great video

Hi This still working on MacBook Pro M2 with macOS Ventura? Thanks
I cannot be sure, with Mac and latest updates CML has not always been straightforward. Best thing is to ask in the CML-P community on Cisco's website. There are few tweaks done on cockpit to get CML working.
