The purpose of pre fill is because if you don't, your oil will then fill it and be needing to be topped up. I just top up my oil. I know of no other reason to pre fill other than not wanting to top up after running it for a couple minutes
I understand the logic but even on say a honda 2000-2003 the vtec motors that are behind the block and placed horizontal, oil comes out but there is no way I can pre fill and re install
Ahhh yes I know those motors. Those are in a terrible position. I will look into what the service manual recommends. I wonder if the flow direction in the honda motors somehow takes into account the filter location. Or maybe you just need to saturate the filter element and like just give a little. I actually was anticipating this specific example as a rebuttle as I am very familiar with that engine
Yeah i was lead down the wrong path against my better judgement. I feel great shame
🤣🤣🤣 It may not be protected fully, but unshielded it can still last well over 10 years, even going through mud and stuff as long as the area it was in is washed thouroghly and if it is in an inclosed area, make sure there is a greese insert valve. Boom, problem solved. Open bearing housing issue fixed.
I thought you were going to say even unshielded it can last well over 10 minutes with practice...lol
@RabidMotorsport 🤣🤣🤣 It'll last longer. Even a turn tables bearings on a track hoe last forever with gunk and crap if you don't greese them. I'm a mechanic as well, so it's a bit common for me to trouble shoot stuff like that. Come up with a redneck answer, if ya know what I mean. 😂
Yeah you didnt ruin it you just made it more prone to being ruined. Good job.
Prone like your gf last night. Allegedly. Tell me more
@@RabidMotorsport that was fire right there
@@Ian-p2f i know right...lol
Yeah you were at my window again. I leave it open just for you.
😂 yall suck at trash talk. The prone joke doesn't make sense. Unless you thought it was probe. Maybe you should learn what words mean before trying to insult a guys gf lol your definitely prone to getting probed by your BF so I get why you're confused.
It protects the bearings from foreign debris you fool. Won't last forever like that.
Ack yes adding grease and replacing the shield or installing in a oil bathed winch would surely cause catastrophic failure and all the short bus children would perish at the hands of the fool
Thoes big bearings are so expensiv 😂
Yeah 50 canadian dollars
A small fortune
@@RabidMotorsport thats realy mutch for 1 bearing😂
@@gamingfuchs9331 yeah I had to get a second mortgage
Bro if u could take one of those back in time to like the old place on baylor or kp in the mush days. We woulda stared at that shit all night laughin at nothing and everything at the same time
Allegedly of course
Allegedly we would just like the steel square
The washer that you mention that fits into the glass and holds the plastic harness for the wiring, half of one of mine is broke will this affect the installation
Let me take a look again at this video and I will get back to you. I don't think it will I'm just unsure right now what exactly you are talking about
Ok if it what I think you are talking about it's the piece I say I'm gonna glue back on for the wires that run the rear window defrost. If it's broken it shouldn't matter as long as the wires themselves aren't cut or frayed and they stay out of the way for closing the hatch. Hope this helps
Still blows my mind to encounter you in my utube shorts. Keep it up brother!
Thanks. I'm trying

Were you getting any clunking noise while braking ? Just curious I have that problem same car. Just changed all brake pads rotors and calipers. Still getting noise while braking
Yes typically a worn bushing and ball joint will make a clunk noise during braking. And acceleration. Whenever the weight transfers from that wheel typically.
@ thanks I’ll try this next
@joserios57 well a good way to check a loose ball joint is jack up the car. Then take a fairly large pry par and put between the ball joint and steering hub and pry it up and down. If the ball joint moves up and down at all. It is worn. With the bushing you will typically be able to see tears in the rubber and again with a pry bar you can pry against them to look for excessive play. The last place you could get a clunk from is the top shock mounts. But I would say 90 percent of the time it is the lower ball joints
I’ll definitely try the pry bar trick
@ so I relubed my caliper pins and brake pads. No more noise
Very useful thanks
And grandmas will be happy too, shout out to Aaron, go for it I will too thanks to Rabid
Thank you very much and I remember that day. It was not fun.
Good Job Man very nice, I know it was freezing.
Yeah another cold winter on its way I'm sure
Exactly my problem, thank you for this, hoping to get gasket and change it asap!
Very grateful for your appreciation. Glad it was helpful
thanks
Your welcome
If you don’t mind me asking what is the part number for that hose?
Fleetright PN.6182813C4
If it was a power stroke you wouldn't even be able to see that
They try and hide that mess behind the turbo inlet. I hate my 2 maxxforce dt and we used to have maxxforce 7? The debacle they made with Ford but they all blew up
No Torque Down Specs Required? lol ...cheers. safe trails
Yeah sorry I can get you those. I will warn you torque specs are for new unused bolts. I always put loctite on caliper brackets as did gm from factory. But typically an old bolt will not reach the set torque value or depending on circumstances and use of anti seize may exceed the value. And when in doubt there are charts found online for every engineered value for coated, galvanized, raw, lubricated and what not, bolts
ive done two pistols like this... itll be fine... that was 4 years ago and they still look good
i believe those internationals have a relocation campaign for those hoses chafing
I think that was a little older campaign. They used to ice up. Maybe 5 years ago. If their is one for the 2020 MV I havnt heard of it. Sorry I called them 4300 it's the newer MV models basically the same thing
Sorry I misread. For chafing? I will look into it
Everyone has to start somewhere, and I appreciate when people are willing to share their experiences with the rest of the world. TH-cam needs more content like this, keep it coming
Thank you very much. I know I need to improve my camera work but I greatly appreciate your comment.
try copper plating first direct to the base metal not so good
The base metal was copper
Oh wait are you saying I should have tried harder to get rid of the original plating? What would work to do that in the future. An acid? Mutric acid maybe?
but you're not a scientist.
Definitely not as you can tell by my environmently controlled lab...lol
Geez.
If you loved this one check out my new one called everything not to do
It had enough of the heat
Yeah it's been brutal out here. Decided to jump in the lake. I want to jump in a lake right now
Good work man I just did this on my truck and it was a freaking hassle and a half
Thanks man. Much appreciated
I’m stuck on lining those cursed 4 bolts x I’ve shoved a screwdriver up there I’ll try the punch next
Yeah those are hell. A long tapered punch works best. I think that took me almost an hour to get. It went quicker on the second side.
Yeah youcan do that if the front is loose enough for a gap
You don't need a gap to cut the nut off
It would be amazing if I could find the surround for a RF T3-19. Any ideas where i can find one?
Sorry man. I found one website when I was searching online for the glue. But I don't normally do this
what type of glue or adhesive did you use?
I believe it's in the video. I give the part number. I bought it from Amazon. Speaker surround glue. Thanks for the comment
Good video Thanks
There u go cut scenes again
Yeah I cut the video would you want to watch a 4 hour video or how about a 8 hour clutch install. No you wouldn't. I include the important info. If you are that clueless about cars. Put your fucking tools down. You are gonna hurt someone. Clown
I was watching to see how the hood comes off and he totally skipped it
Yeah its a couple bolts. Super straight forward. Its the same for every hood made since like 1950. Sorry though this was just a scramble video. Thats why I didn't edit the footage. Thanks for watching
Was curious to try this to clean up the inside of my motorcycle gas tank. Thanks for the info, I'll go grab a jug now.
That would probably work great. It definitely works better in a warmer temperature. I tried in the winter here and it didn't seem like it wanted to work.
Without removing the dust cap to shim the voice coil the way you did it is hit and miss. It’s a possibility that you could get scraping from not being straight up and down
Sure thing boss.
@@RabidMotorsport im just learning to do this stuff lately. How did yours turn out?
Good. No issues. I am not a speaker builder hence my lack of a comment. I don't think you have to get that technical with replacing the surround at this level
It wasnt the vice. It is stigmata
Theres the pete i remember
Hahahhaha yeah still all hairy and unkept
@RabidMotorsport like real men should be. Lost all mine on top, be lookin like fryer tuck in a few more years. Still just as unkempt tho. Remember the old chain bat u made? What was its name? I cant remember. U did a solid job on that mofo
Oh fuck yeah I still have the bat. Old Louisville slugger.. I got a death hammer now
@@RabidMotorsport fucking awesome!

Thank you so much!
No thank you for the wonderful music. And your new song is top notch
Looks like an impact driver with a 1/2 t-30 torx bit to get that set screw out.
Yeah I broke my impact driver on one of these and one time I snapped my bit off.
I can't remember what I was doing in this video but if I was battling to get it out it was probably stripped already
It might be a phillips head.
@@RabidMotorsport well, i'm about to find out this morning.. Yime for new pads and rotors.
How did it go?
Spent over year with my liftgate not opening in its entirety just to replace it and then find out the glass hinges were completely rotted. Thank for the instructions!
Thank you very much for the comment. I'm glad I could help
Do you have to replace the part or can you just tighten it?
Yes you have to replace it. The bolt doesn't hold tension it is solely a mount. There is a spring inside and I've had tensioner blow up before
What do I do if there is a puncture in the actual paper cone that goes all the way through not the surround I got a skar ddx 15 I’m trying too repair
I think you actually can buy those. They are glued on like the foam. Might be a little harder to source. But I do know you can get them
I've also seen people use nailpolish or rub some glue on the puncture. I wouldn't call that the proper way but as long as it moves air
YAY!
what's the part number on that white claw?
It looks like 48819 00113. But I think it differs by batch
Love the video!!!
Thank you. I'm still figuring out the formula. I would love one of your skull candles for my next video
how2 did you disconnect the ebrake
It just pops out of the u shaped bracket I believe. Probably some sort of lock pin I can't remember
