I know I already recorded this song a few years ago, but I can not get enough. I just love it! This time I accompanied myself, and even though I am not a pianist, it gives me more freedom to make phrases the way I want to. I recorded this casually while warming up for a Traviata show, which means no do overs. It's not perfect but definitely heartfelt.

Casual Karaoke... no.3 :) While we are stuck inside during Covid times and theatres remain closed, we are unable to perform and basically do our jobs. I miss the stage and even more: I miss you, the audience. To keep busy I just record some songs that I love but never get the chance of performing. Hope you like it!

Graças a Lucília, sua esposa, Villa-Lobos deslanchou na música tão bem. O que seria de Heitor Sem Lucília? Um mero tocador de violão, um mero chorão? Não saberemos. Mas, Lucília como uma fêmea, ficou no esquecimento do machismo historiográfico de sempre. Mesmo que tentem não será possível separar a obra de Villa-Lobos de Lucília, assim como não é possível separar a obra de Marx das contribuições de Engels.
