Hi thanks for the great video, do you mind sharing some of the resources/literature you used for the video? specially if they have something saying about the cost

I look at my Giant aluminium hydroformed CNC welded frame ... its faultless
1:36 i have doubts

You need to change your seals in the sealheads bro lmao
Tolerance of 75mm? Err..think it might be better than that...lol

Group 14?!? Holy shit!!
Very cool with a great video
Nice explanations and good presentation.
MIG is not wire feeding through a heated tip. In hi current welding, tip is on the contrary cooled
he wasn't describing MIG welding he was describing M I G welding.... duh dummmy
@@lockgessner this must be a local term in ur part of Momgolia
@@thomseng clearly you didn't watch the vid or you would understand the joke....
Yep, he did a good job describing the tube hydroforming at least. He should have stopped while he was ahead.
Sick video! Thanks
I thought that was Skynet Terminator factory.
Thank you
Filmed with a potato ............. apparently???
Nice
What? You mention "in the 25 yrs since tube hydroforming was developed" there were parts being manufactured over 100 years ago using hydroformed tubes.
So now everyone knows why some modern bikes are ludicrously expensive.
Not necessarily. Plenty of $100 hydroformed bikes at Walmart.
@@squiresuzuki Have to agree. My new Marin Fairfax (which I don't regard as ludicrously expensive for what you get) has hydroformed head tube, top tube, down tube and (possibly) chainstays, although they have a flat section. The fork is full carbon. This makes for a very comfortable, quick ride in what is just an urban commuter bike.
@@squiresuzuki I wonder if the Walmart bikes are hydoformed.
@@squiresuzuki True. I got a $99 Genesis with hydroformed tubes.
Thank you for this very interesting, informative and concise explanation of the different methods of hydroforming.
Nicely done!
great video
