You're not sincere to yourself y fast forwarding
Eu estou com o mesmo problema, e não tenho essa informação aq no Brasil q vc tem na mão aí. Vc me salvou.
If this is what he does for a living, he ain't touching my stuff.. zip ties !!!! Really
*Discards intructiions as if everyone knows how to install a car sub, then proceeds to not show the entire wireing installation..... (because we're all supposed to me as smart as this guy)
On the mopar site I'm seeing 2 different transmission mounts for my 2014 summit 5.7 One if triangular and the other square. How do I find out which one I need other than crawling under there? They both say they fit and this is on the official website.
Whered you stick you phone/camera? Pretty positive mine is just like this after a new engine install🙄 but not sure how much movement they have stock. My scat pack moved a decent amount but less that the jeep
Yeah not my car but don't skip step for those that do have it. No wire shining through.
Виктор Васильев, что это видео делает в плейлисте "Сваты 5 все серии" ?!
согласен
Why skip all the parts of the install that's vital?
no way that much bass was coming from that
Does your sub still work?
I learned.... Almost nothing. You mumble away stuff like you just know it and it doesn't matter, it's whatever, who cares. Then why make the video? Dude most of us don't know how this stuff works, and need simple or detailed explanations of things... Like the wiring? That's the entire point I clicked on your video. I wanted to see where exactly I should be splicing the L and R wires to. I have no idea if I'm just clipping it to the L and R door speaker wires, or something under the dash, or an existing subwoofer +/- or how those work, or any details I should know not to do or look for. RCA usage or splicing options etc. Visually explained or shown instead of skipped or shrugged off. If each step isn't explained then honestly most videos are not worth making, but thanks for what you did do. Hopefully someone else got something out of it
I learned nothing from this "install" video. The intruction book he so smuggly tossed aside will give we more infor then this 12 minute waste of time
What fuse did you tap into? Also, what crimp did you use to accommodate that thick ass power wire? lol
You might want to consider redoing the video w/out moving the camera so much...makes me nauseous
Could you do a separate video about how you did the power distribution step?
01m is garbage if y’all have problems with them just throw them away or manual swap it
Curious if the replacement you bought on ebay fixed your issues you mentioned on the forums? Thinking about picking up both the front and rear cv replacement joints as well as motor/tranny mounts before I go down the path of anything else.
You were doing so good at first and then really phoned in the rest of this step by step video
Does this thing keep overheating on you? Mine sure does. It’s ridiculous.
Where do the skinny wires from the harness connect to? U didn't show that part
Dude you Mumble too much
So much I don't understand, because you skipped it out....
I have the same setup....good for what I need it for
Yes I agree it was just enough for my needs and super easy install
Excellent video brother, well explained
Did you have to replace it?
This one was actually ok but wearing out. I did have to replace the 2 front engine mounts. Especially the front driver side. It was completely separated
What symptoms should I look for?
Every time I drive when 2nd /3rd gear kicks in feel like something’s loose underneath the cabin
Stupid
Just found out I have this problem (all 4) from a stand still it clunks and knocks going into to first and even shifting into first. $2200 repair
Clunking when shifting into first is possibly a propeller shaft or differential issue and could possibly be a transfer case issue if All wheel drive. It took me three months and several thousand dollars to resolve all of my clunks, replacing the transfer case seemed to help the most. This was a $6000 fix, in my opinion the jeep is just not worth all the repairs I’ve had to throw at it. I hope my video helps with some of your troubles!
@@Cashvilleamt it’s already at jeep. They verified the motor mounts are shot. Does it in take off and when coming to a stop only.

Hey! I searched for the copy of the guide, but I could not find it. Can you give me a link to which book you have?
Hello and thank you for the question. Wow ya know this was such a long time ago that I have since thrown out that sheet. I remember I found that service bulletin on line I remember for free. If I come across it I will share in the comments. Good luck!
Richard Taylor Oh thanks for reply :) If you find something about this guide book pls share with me. 🙏 I checked on ATSG web page but I didn’t find anything :/ If I find something I will buy as a PDF. Thx Stay safe 🙌
I have an 01 jetta 2.0 AEG with 01m. Reverse operates, D operates, N operates. When in drive from a stop, it will go into 2nd barely, and must need to come off the throttle to go into 3rd and 4th. I had coolant contamination and dropped the pan to find shaven black clutch material. Is it a smarter choice to get a used transmission or is this rebuildable? TY for your thoughts,... -Jonathan
hi richard how do i test the transmission after i assemble it that its correct, must it rotate forward and lock backwards.
Hello friend - can you send me a link, where to download the manuals scanned? Thank you soooo much. Michal, Prague
Hi Richard, i have one 01m completely blocked i do not if for bad b2 clutch installation or a trouble with the converter. With your manual i can fix it? best regards.
is it possible to change the ignition without taking the whole steering collom out?
You and your daughter working together is about the sweetest thing I've ever witnessed. She's a proud girl of her papa. Thanks for sharing
Do you have a manual?
nice vid ,what was wrong with transmission? went out .?
great job, do you know if this 01M and Audi 01N same stuff? and what was causing problem in your 01M?
Thank you! The original problem was that the last owner ran the incorrect transmission fluid, this caused a breakdown in the seals and thus most of the fluid leaked out (except about 1 letter). They continued to drive the car and an overheating condition. This condition lead to most of the clutches and drums to fail.
I do believe that both the Audi 01N and VW 01M share commonality except that for gear ratio. They also share the same electrical connection configurations. However, if you install a VW trans into an Audi it would drive but the transmission computer would immediately show trouble codes because the drum speed sensors would be reporting incorrect speed data. The trans computer uses this data to command shift timing to the valve body. If this occurs the trans computer will default to "limp mode" and only run in 3rd gear or reverse. The only way to correct this issue is to reflash the computer for the new transmission configuration. This can only be done by dealer computer systems. I have found one company that can reflash it but they cannot guarantee it will work when complete. It's safest to match the same type and style transmission that the vehicle was intended to have during initial manufacturing.
same problem may happen to our audi a4, my younger brother never opens the hood himself, I do that for him occasionally when it happens. so one day the car totally lost cooling liquid (antifreeze), engine overheated and he is been driving like that for weeks, have no idea how long, I just saw that and immediatly bought cooling liquid, I still wonder how the transmission is still working. I have also noticed that transmission tray gasket is leaking, so I guess he also lost some automatic transmission liquid. So I'm planning to replace gasket and fill with fluid, and hope that there is no hole in tray itself, also one bolt was absent from tray. Many thanks anyway, yes, these 01N and 01M are almost same with some minor differences. I feel that I wont be able to find new gasket and waiting would be is too long, so I guess I will have to clean old one and use some gasket silicone and put it back like that, do you know is there any pressure in the tray?
The gasket is most likely leaking because it has been overheated or the wrong fluid. If the fluid level drops more than one letter it will cause cavitation of the pump and valve body. This causes the clutch drums to heat up as well which causes the clutches to wear excessively. It concerns me that the antifreeze ran out, the transmission has a cooler on top that oil from the trans runs through and cools the trans fluid via heat exchange. If the trans fluid was running low AND you had no antifreeze in the cooling system then it is likely you have permanent damage over several international components of the transmission and drum stack ups. If you are going to try and save it, you must use a genuine dealer oil pan gasket and filter. Once you have the filter off, cut it open and inspect for sludge or debris. If you find either you MUST overhaul the entire transmission or you will run into problems when that debris works its way into all the components. If you don't see any evidence of
The above then you will have to reinstall the pan (special torque and sequence) and refill with dealer fluid. This is also a known cause of leaking pan gaskets. This fluid is rather expensive, it will cost around $150 for all the fluid you will need consult your dealer parts department for amount you will need. Lastly you will have to fill the trans only 1/2 way then connect the vehicle to the dealer scanner (or capable) that can place the valve body in "fill mode", if this is not done you will get air trapped in the valve body that will cause hard or hesitant shifting behavior. Hope this helps.
It fixed the problem worked great. I sold the car so not sure after that. Good luck!
What happened after you put it in the car?
I just got the manuals and read a lot... Just kept working on it until I fixed it 🤓
Can you share this manual please....
I have the whole manual for sale for $50. It has complete information on this transmission and also all service letters included.
Where did you learn about transmission repair? thank you
