Hello! My name is Keaton and welcome to Plastic Schematic...
I build small to medium scale lego star wars mocs. Recently I began writing stories or narratives that go with each build so feel free to check those out.
These stories can be found on my Instagram which is linked down below.
If you enjoy my videos you should subscribe so you will be able to easily find my next video.
In the future I plan to make tutorial videos but, for now this channel will have mocs and stories to accompany them.
Thanks for reading and watching!

How To Build A Lego Forest | Lego Star Wars Moc Timelapse
On Instagram and Flickr you can find this lovely group of builders know as the 253rd Elite Legion. They occasionally make a post on Instagram, but they are most active on Flickr. For several years, I watched the group photo pool on Flickr, totally in love with what they were doing.
The group is a star wars RPG, set in the phase 1 era of the clone wars. To join this group you must build a moc no larger than 16 x 16 studs in size. The moc needs at least one phase one clone trooper included. It doesn't stop there. Story telling is as important as the moc. Each build includes a short story that fits it into the ongoing tale of the 253rd legion.
This moc is my application to the group. During the video, you'll see exactly how it went together. I hope you enjoy it.
Thanks for watching and reading :)

Last month on Instagram, I saw the World in Darkness group started their winter building event. I asked if I could be a part of the event, within the same day they replied: If I joined their discord and made something that fit with their standards, I was in. The event is themed around war in the Atlantic, lots of snow, water and manmade structures. This almost stopped me, I hadn’t made anything...
Building an Awesome Lego Forest Landscape
มุมมอง 1.2K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
Inspired by great builders on Instagram, I set out to push the limits of my skill. This moc features all kinds of odd angles and shapes that do not fit within Lego's building system. I filmed the build process rather than the disassembly. This results in a longer, detailed video. Please, let me know what you think of it. Thanks for watching and reading :) MY INSTAGRAM: pChh8qZ2Ji...
Building a Lego Mech Factory

Hello! This is the Timelapse for my new Mech build. It's a part of an apocalyptic universe I've been fleshing out for a few years. Last year, I built the drone featured in the moc and last week I rebuilt it. I wanted to show it off in its own scene. Lego Star Wars Clone Wars Timelapse - "Heavy Resistance"
มุมมอง 3312 ปีที่แล้ว
After losing half their force, a clone platoon pushes onward to secure key objectives. They are met with fierce Separatist resistance, including an AAT. A roaring exchange of blaster fire and high explosive ordinance ensues... Hello everyone, I'm back with another Star Wars themed build. My grand plan for this MOC was to have an explosion on it. I did not own any lighting elements powerful enou...
Making a Lego Landscape Moc
มุมมอง 2252 ปีที่แล้ว
Hello, this is the Timelapse of the apocalyptic build I posted on instagram. I wanted to try creating a dynamic creek that flowed through a complex landscape. To tie into the apocalypse theme, I added a long dead soldier from a conflict that happened centuries ago, after that I called it done. Thanks for watching and reading. I Made A Lego Star Wars Clone Wars Moc
มุมมอง 1942 ปีที่แล้ว
Hello everyone! I know it's been a while but I'm back again with a new Moc. I wanted to make a landscape with multiple levels to it, I've never attempted it before. I ended up with a valley edge populated with a generous amount of trees. I wrote a story for it too! In summary, Republic warships surprised a Separatist fleet in the outer rim. After a swift victory in orbit, a large problem arose....
LEGO STAR WARS FOREST MOC: BUILD TIMELAPSE "Stormtrooper ambush"
มุมมอง 9303 ปีที่แล้ว
Here's the timelapse for my most recent moc. I spent the last month building it, even getting a pick a brick order to piece it together. I'm happy with the build itself but the video is a dive in quality, too fast and no photos. That being said, I'll be back soon with another attempt at making a good video. Until next time, Bye... TIMELAPSE: MEDIEVAL LEGO LANDSCAPE MOC

Here is the TIMELAPSE for my new fantasy themed MOC. The photos and story are on instagram. I really enjoyed the process of making this one, tinkering with the grass, designing the characters, writing the story, it was fun! while the video quality is still a little blurry, I was able to avoid the light pulsing that happened in the last video. let me know what you like and don't like down in the...

This is so cool
Hey! Thanks, I'm glad you think so.
can you please make a landscaping tutorial
For Sure! I want to do one, I've just been waiting to gather enough information for the video. Thanks for asking!
@@plasticschematic thank you can’t wait 🙏
wow amazing parts usage and creativity 🔥🔥
wow amazing rock work best i have ever seen
Thanks! I like to make the pieces count when doing small builds. At this scale, I can afford the most part intensive techniques.
yeah facts ❤🙏👌
Yeah.. Less parts? Maybe less colours. You could build the same thing, but if you didn't have 90% of the parts in L Grey, D Grey and Black, it wouldn't look nearly as good.
Good point.
this is an incredible rock building technique, its great to see how its done ty, lots of rock builders dont share their building techniques like this
@@queerutopia I'm glad you appreciate it. I will keep sharing details like that in future videos.
i like the words on screen, i think it could be better if its spoken, but its great to have an explanation either way
@@queerutopia A spoken commentary sounded better to me too, just didn't want to believe it. Either way, I'm glad the explanation was useful.
This looks amazing love the effort you put into the rock work
@BrickTrooperCreations thanks, this is my new favorite technique for Rockwork!
@ yeah I can’t wait to see it more I might incorporate it in my Mocs sorry this has not got a lot of views tho I enjoyed it
@BrickTrooperCreations yeah, give the technique a shot! If you work it in among simpler techniques, it is far easier to use. I'm glad you enjoyed the video😁
I just discovered, Imovie compresses pictures when importing them (I use imovie to make videos)... but if you import them a second time from within imovie It does not compress them. My pictures in this video are so crunchy because Imovie compressed my photos :( from now on, photos will be less crunchy :D I wonder if imovie has been silently compressing the video footage too... could this discovery be the key to better video quality? :O
subscribed, your diorama is wonderful
Thank you! There's plenty more on the way.
I love this rugged industrial feel, the inconsistency with parts works beautifully here
@@spongboing2425 Thanks😁
Imma order some pieces to do customisation to my 2024 star destroyer
@@gunfire_ Do it! I'm not saying more pieces is bad, I'm not saying less pieces is good. I wanted to encourage people with smaller collections to work with what they have on hand. Rather than dumping money into Lego... Gotta budget those purchases.
I ordered the Hocus pocus house not sure what I'm going to make it but if I can wait until Halloween I will
This diorama is amazing!! You really deserve more subs, your stuff is incredible!
@@mr.justinstudios5205 Thank you, that Is so nice of you to say.
really cool
@@RabbitBricks thank you! I'm glad you like it.
“Less is more” is definitely the way to go if you have a limited collection. This MOC is a great example of maximizing part usage!
@@chris_wizzudz thanks, it can be tempting to go buy more parts, but it is satisfying to find ways to overcome these limitations.
Thats all well and good when these are the parts you have to work with
looks nice man, great job keep it up!
@@geoffreyfromg-mproductions6236 Thanks so much!
_Fewer_ parts. Not "less" parts. Parts are counted, not measured.
Nerd
@@----GOD-----lmao
Considering the definitions of these words and the context they are being used in, they seem to serve a similar purpose. Less sounds better I think. Fewer makes it sound like using less parts over all is what can lead to creativity. Which wasn't the desired message.
Go socialize or something
@@jacobbroosh3386 cope
this is an incredible build, id love it if you did more indepth videos, cos you are using some cool techniques that id love to learn
@@queerutopia Thank you! Would it be good to have videos explaining techniques? Or during a video like this one, I explain the technique before continuing?
@@plasticschematic i think both would work, what JakobKaiserMOCs does is after a build they go back and pull it apart to show the techniques they used in seperate videos. but i think during a build video works too. whatever suits you best
with this build im curious about how you build the light grey columns and the overhead crane which all look incredible btw
@@queerutopia perfect! Thanks for getting back to me, I'll keep this stuff in mind.
Love the details, Wonderful build! 🔥

Thank you😋
You know how long it took u to make this? Also looks awesome
@@xswitch3433 Thanks man, it took around 20 hours to build, and several more were spent thinking about how it was all going to fit together😂
@plasticschematic yeah looks great I'm new at moc building because I got back into Lego about a year ago after a while... I like seeing how people use different techniques etc, anyway keep up the great mocs I'll definitely be looking out for ur next

I love the round edges of the terrain. GREAT WORK!
@@Os4kar Thank you, it was hard to figure out how to start doing that. After making up some answers to the problems, it was more straightforward.
