A 2-minute guide to master fishing in Throne and Liberty
มุมมอง 13Kหลายเดือนก่อน
Heyo- Here's a quick two minute guide to master fishing in Throne and Liberty. I quickly go over my simple technique for catching fish, as well as an animation cancel to help you get through your bait 60% faster. This guide will prove especially useful if you're trying to farm Archboss Bellandir and Tevent's soul fragments. Link to fishing test results- docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1v...
The most efficient way to use blessing in Throne and Liberty

Do this if you want to save lucent while upgrading your gear. Server: NA East - Lottie
Great guide. Amazing how I did it wrong (followed another guide) and now doing this it all makes sense
Really great guide! Helped me trait up my weapons and shoes
I got more confused after watching the video multiple times. I think the guide needs to be more beginner friendly.
Seit dem der angel kodex draußen ist kann man die kleinen und großen Säcke auch von großen fischen bekommen und nicht mehr nur von kleinen
Most clear and straight to the point guide EVER Thank you so much!
I'm glad you started a channel, these simple guides are great!
What a great video! This helped me clear Carmine’s on my 1st try
@nightweaver_tl i did this, transferring blue 9 ( full traited) to trash epic(on which i did 1600 blessing stacking until all succeeded before transferring the blue) and after transferring the trash epic to my last item ended up with 3250 blessing on last item.so to recap blue+9 full traited on trash epic with 1600 blessing ended up on final item with 3250.Now final item with 3250 blessing was not enough to upgrade 3x3 traits. 450x9=4050. So this is final number of blessings you need on your final item in order to full trait all traits with blue only. Never the less thanks for the guide.
1 additional important info: you cant get sacks, when you got a small fish (gray) on the hook. You can identify them, when you reached fishing lvl above lvl 10 (dunno exactly which lvl) by the 2 green arrows at the fish stamina bar. Then you can press F so you dont waste time to catch a gray fish. Sacks can only be catched when it should be a green small fish. By looking at how fast the stamina decreases you can identify if you got a sack and even if its a big or small sack.
so if it has 2 green small arrows, its defo NOT a sack?
Absolute legend!
You get a sub, bro over here put out everything we need efficiently.
By time you gey archboss this way, we'll have gold gear 😂
i nvr did this,its a wasting time.
Cool story
Do you mind sharing your face settings?:D
Does this still work ?
More than 30 sacks and only sollant from them. This fishing is shit…
"What no way fck sakes!"
Just saw your 2 videos. DIRECT NEAT EFFECTIVE!
these are the YT videos we need. thank you young king
Very well done :) Guess it's my time to fish now! 😀
Forgot to mention u need like 33k above sacks caught. Gl
that cancel animation. I wished I knew 2k+ fish baits ago., But good knowledge going forward. Thanks!
do you know if the fragments from these sacks are sellable on the auction house?
Yep! Can confirm they are
@@nightweaver_tl thank you
Thanks!
Recasting doesn’t use up a charge of the bait??
It won't use up a charge as long as you recast before the fish has bitten 😌
I made the math, you need around 146k catches to craft an archboss weapon. In other words, close to 8 years buying the bait from the vendor and using them xd So the only profit you can expect is by selling fragments. In my server, they are like 200 and 400. Based in HIS data, you should expect one fragment each 865 catches. Or 0.273 lucent after taxes per time you catch a small fish. Just adding the time factor variable would wrap up how ridiculous this is lol, in summary just do it because you enjoy it or need to cook.
You have to do this, send your Amitoi on expeditions, attend the arch boss and do the world events in their areas if you want to speed up the process unfortunately
For me what makes no sense is that at lvl 20 and with tevent fishing rod I still see no difference at all. I thought with a better fishing rod and higher lvl it would become easier, maybe the stamina bar refill faster or the fish heath bar goes down faster but not difference at all so I think the fishing is broken.
i got tevent too and it still sucks so i give up until we get afk fishing
The point is that the tevent rod gives u only 3 levels in fishing, so its not that big difference, but once u reach lvl 20, these 3 levels are really good to have
From what I can tell, your level DOES matter to a certain amount. You need to be at a certain level or certain fish are "tough" to catch (double red arrows pointing up on the fish stamina meter), and once you exceed a fish's level by a certain amount, they become "trivial" to catch (double green arrow pointing down on the fish stamina meter). The arrows mean you drain the fish stamina at either half the rate (red arrows) or twice the rate (green arrows). However, if you don't have any arrows, you get no penalties or bonuses. There are two other effects from what I can tell: Higher level means that you are more likely to see desirable fish. I used to almost never see starfish when I was level 10, but now at 20 with a Tevent I come back with a dozen starfish every 50 bait. Higher level means that your "pull" on the line slows the fish more as it moves, or even drags it in the opposite direction some, making it less likely to escape.
Great explanation- I'll add: I remember specifically level 15 being the point where I started finally seeing aurora starfish. The fishing level you see on your stats page is post-fishing rod so if you're actually level 12 and you have a purple +3 fishing rod, it will show you as having level 15 fishing.
Good guide. Quick one.
Thanks.
The voice is nice. The video to the point. Buddy, you earned a sub. Gg.
wanna go fishing but i only have bamboo rod
You can upgrade to a green one for really cheap at the sundries crafter, you can also find a purple fishing rod from mystic portals.
Great video. Do you know the cancel for Xbox?
I'm not sure how fishing on console is, but if I had to guess, you would probably just press the same button you use to take out your fishing rod, twice.
Great Video but alot to take in gotta watch it over and over again then try to do it when I have the gears I want also the fishing video is great keep it up and keep making more video like this we need more people like you.
pressing B or Recall will cancel the animation too
Not on console
Lol what console do you know that has a "F" key. Haha I love these comments. 😅
I was trying to teach this tactic to friend but he refused to understand it :D, and your video is awesome. Small fish tactic and animation cancel is amazing, thank you.
Absolutely phenomenal video.
w video
This is good if you dont actually play the game and want to rush to purple like the whales. Thanks for sharing though. Very complicated. Best tip is save all purples and expand bag/ storage up until it starts costing lucent. Save all your purples and save all things and capes that are blue. Also, dont take any of the codex gear. You’ll need it later. Also prio the lithograph books that give gear but keep the rewards in the book to save space. Thanks for reading. When you get enough game knowelge, youll thank me. Also, use questlog to actually plan a build. I think you should be good to plan a build around 250 hours.
Was anyone able to follow along with this?
Not me. xD
Alright clearly im stupid and need a written example, i understand full level blue for level and blessing but the 2nd item for extra blessing you kinda loosing me here, please correct me if im wrong are you saying to spam trash extremely cheap blue traits in the 2nd item until you reach the required blessing cap, fuse blue into it then fuse that into final item? And follow up whats up with this divide by 12 thing
Yep you're correct- and to reiterate, your blessing cap is determined by calculating (# of expensive desired traits * 1350 blessing). The part where we divide by 12 is intended to find the max price of those extremely cheap blue traits. So for example skill damage boost on a ring- a purple is say, 280 lucent, or 450 blessing. The blue version of skill damage boost is 60 lucent, which means we need to spend no more than (280-60 = 220 lucent) on achieving 450 blessing. The price of the blue skill damage boost matters here because you still need a blue version of the trait when you guarantee the level-up with 450 blessing. All we're trying to do now is hit 450 blessing and keep our cost UNDER that 220 lucent. As long as you do that, you're saving lucent using blessing versus just buying the purple outright. The reason we divide by 12 is to find the highest average price of the cheap blue traits we can afford. If you pay more than (220/12 = 18 lucent) 18 lucent for every cheap blue trait, you're no longer "beating" the price of just buying the purple trait. Also if the price after dividing by 12 is less than 10, you know the purple trait is already too cheap to use blessing on and you should just buy it outright. Hope this helps.
@nightweaver_tl this proves I am a visual learner not auditorial and thank you it helps
Throne and liberty is harder than my college algebra course 🤣
Use it on the most expensive trait line
Simple way of seeing 1 blue trait gives 40 blessings. U need 450 to 100%. So if u see the purple price lower than 8 u buy blue traits. But it its around 4-5 times like 50 Lucent then buy the purple one
You didn't calculate the fact that, directly use the blue extract has a 10% chance to level up the trait
Can't really calculate for something that isn't guaranteed- BUT any 10% chance you pull off saves you even more lucent ^ ^ the calculations here are assuming absolutely terrible RNG
Or spend twenty bucks and safe yourself like 20 hrs of time
or spent 100 bucks and then uninstall the game and safe yourself all the time you would have played
20 dollars can literally skip more than 100 hours lol. I'm not even fully traited blue after over 150 hours f2p. You only got a taste of p2w if you played first week. The market has crashed and you have to farm the base gear to even pay to trait it. Unless or course you buy the overpriced full items/ lithos.
Very helpful and straight to the point.
Question. Can you unlock traits onna purple with blue trait extract if you have blessings for 100%?
Unfortunately no- to unlock you need a copy of the item (or the item's extract) with the trait you want to unlock, or use unlockstones, or reroll into it using the trait conversion (but that's not really unlocking I guess)
i dont understand the method 2.. can you explain?
Method 2 is also farming blessing but in a different way- when you transfer a purple item into a purple, the game gives you blessing based on the levels of the traits on the item you're sacrificing. Each trait level beyond the very first one (the one the item comes with) gives 120 blessing. This means if you have the option of buying REALLY cheap traits on that sacrificed purple item, you can be spending 10 lucent for 120 blessing, which translates to 40 lucent for 480 blessing to guarantee the purple trait levels up with a blue extract, which again is EXTREMELY cheap.
dont invest lucent
Speeding to purple is terrible. It's better to just grind it unless you have the bankroll to back it up. The game limits you in various ways, not just one. It's definitely a huge advantage to spend though.
This wont work if the item is already +9 tho right? Like if my gloves are purp +9 i kinda missed out on the opertunity to transfer blessing to them right?
Kind of... you can still farm blessing if you have an open trait slot or have a cheap purple trait on your gloves. As far as I'm aware though with current prices- you're probably better off just buying the purple traits since they're typically really cheap
