Yo bro I’m going live now
Why did you stop the livestream? I was about to finish my homework
Sweet! Pimp my Maersk :)
Yes Indeed Once I get threw Posting all this Lego on my brick link im gonna be working on some new versions also
Sweet mod! The armor looks awesome 👍. I also like the placement of the polarity switch in the bottom, very compact with all the electronics. Nice work with the copper tape, you can always pinch wires between the tracks since the track contacts interfere with the bogies. 2:24 I haven't heard or PoweredUpBricks I'll have to check them out 😉
Thank you very much. And yes lucky there was enough space underneath the receiver. Witch lined it up with the 2x2 hole witch was super nice. I figured out just to connect the 9v power track connectors to a piece of strait witch lets boogies clear its just The curve it was hitting on. And omg Im so sorry I was talking about you and I said the name wrong. How embarrassing.
@@SouthWestTactical No worries I got a good laugh out of that. I came up with BatteryPoweredBricks well before the Powered Up system was available 😄
Nice! I've done some flex tracks with copper tape as well and it works! I've also been doing the switches. I've got three of those done. They are complicated. I've got my 4563 Loand 'n Haul running on it. I should post a video.
You should post a video. 9v switches Cost allot Lol.
@@SouthWestTactical Yeah, I should. I have a few spare here that haven't coppered.. It basically involves taping in some jumper wires underneath the frog and padding out the points so it makes contact when you switch it.
Is there a way to use rechargeable batteries in the Powered Up Hub?
@@Morningstar1046 yes you can buy rechargeable aaa or 9v battery from energizer.
I wish you well in your journey back into lego trains
@@pacificcy3182 thank you
Mollay
Shop still up and running for orders? Gonna order one this Friday if so
Could do the same thing with some 1 inch tubular nylon webbing and a rock climbing carbine, might be even cheaper too do so. Just need too head too your local hobby/ outdoor store and you could pretty much pick up what you need for less than 20 too 30 bucks
DARC straps been around for awhile.
Well now ik the name for them. thank you very much. i did not know that was term for this.
@@SouthWestTactical, idk if DARC has a patent or anything, but that's who is credited with coming up with the idea. A commercially available one certainly isn't a bad thing for dudes that don't want to have to fiddle with making their own.
Im gonna be looking into it for sure before I release it. And yeah Im sure allot of people just want something they can throw in and not have to mess with allot. @@mikejones6711
That is so badass any idea of msrp as of right now?
Yes I was thinking of somewhere around 50usd to 60 usd
