Hi there, and welcome to my workshop!
My name is Hairy Steve, part-time giraffe wrestler and full-time model builder. Earlier this year I set out to evict a load of old crap from my garage in order to create enough space for a small hobby workshop. Join me as I battle dust, random gardening implements, giant hairy spiders and bizarre safety warning labels in my attempt to create a usable space from what used to be a dumping ground for old camping gear and an obscene number of lawn mowers!
As this space goes from hazardous to useful, I will be making videos on a variety of subjects from the ridiculous to the absurd, from entertaining to informative, and from R/C trucks to Warhammer 40K. If I can find enough space I may even throw in a bit of 3D printing!

@zakforce2572 Sounds like a plan :) I've got most of the design worked out, just got a few tweaks to do to it, I'm going to 3d print the parts to begin with, just not sure how PLA will react to hydraulic oil :)
nice job! should be able to use this technique and materials for plastic/styrene. Thanks, Terry
Im glad you found it useful. :) It should be fine on plastic parts as the Mig oil washes etc are designed for use on plastic kits. You might just want to dry brush some metal colour along the sharp edges where the rest would wear away.

Very true, it's fine when I'm carrying the camera pointing it away from me eg when I did my workshop walk-round. The only issue I've come across with the wireless setup is that my beard scratches the microphone which makes a noise on my videos! :) Shouldn't be a problem once I get it trimmed though. :)

As far as I know the only UK supplier that stocks these cabs is Astec Models. Model World sell RC Lab light sets.
Please use a better or clip on microphone. I could barely hear you even with my volume turned up.
Hi there, thanks for your feedback, I've just invested in a set of wireless microphones so hopefully my next videos will be better. :) Also I think I did something weird in the audio settings in this video so apologies for that.

Hi there, thank you for the feedback on my video. :) I will look into getting a better microphone setup and/or increasing the audio volume when I edit my videos. As you can tell I'm still new to TH-cam so any constructive criticism is welcome.

Terrible machine, zero quality control, badly Y calibrated oob.
I love my K1 Max, but mine came with a shattered door.
If you want a significant upgrade, look into the Cartopgraher 3D probe. You’ll at a minimum want to root your printer and install KAMP.
It's a great printer I hope to see great prints here

Today, I changed my track position to have the pins’s e-clips facing outside because they easily fall. And it is easier to install new ones that way.

i say get the screen. this will be a seriously cool build, i will never build this myself (trucks only for me) but being pretty new to the hobby i enjoy watching masters work...pick up tips here n there lol
