My pantry is falling out into the hallway and its a large walk in with shelves running on 3 sides from floor to ceiling thar pantry only has boxed and canned food, cereal, chips, crackers. But right now it needs to be cleaned but it will wait until my kids are back to school. I also have a smaller pantry with all my bulk bins of rice, flour sugar, beans, brown sugar, my bins are 20 pound bins and there is 2 for each item so I usually keep 40 pounds of each of the bulk items. And I also have 2 shelves in there and those shelves are for cake mixes,and other things like chocolate chips, oats, raisins, baking soda/powder, vanilla, nuts, pudding, jello we are for the most part a single ingredient household because I have lots of allergies and I can most of our canned food because i have a nickle allergy and can't eat things out of metal cans. Your pantry looks good it can't always be perfect its a working pantry.

I am going to do the challenge but I am not a youtuber. I have 3 freezers and 2 pantries to work through and I am pulling things that may be past there expiration but are atill good and working them into the meal plan. I have some picky eaters as well my son is autistic and is picky my husband has late stage dementia at 52 and has teeth problems so he eats only soft things. So i have to try to make accomodations for them. I will still be shopping weekly.

If your pressure canning broth its 20 minutes for pints and 25 minutes for quarts I just did a bunch of broth clearing bones out of my freezers. Great job!

That's a nice haul. I agree about Wal-Mart produce, and meats never seem that good when they pick them out. We canceled our membership, and we just stuck with Sams. If I need something from Wal-Mart, I prefer to go into the store myself. I hope that you and your family have a very Merry Christmas.

Making a list and having all my pantry goods in order has most definitely been a challenge for me. I am learning to make lists and seeing what we have in our pantry and what I need to get to make a meal with it. That way, we are utilizing that without further waste. Great vedio.

I went to dollar tree and bought several 4 packs of little plastic plates to replace paper plates. They are smaller so I love how many can fit in the dishwasher. It’s been well over a year since I’ve bought paper plates.

Nice video! I know what you mean about paper products…I always get the Sam’s paper bowls for my boys “messy foods.” They add up. Sometimes a mom has to save on her labors too! I’m trying to do better I’m out of the pregnancy & breastfeeding stage too.

Great haul. It's crazy how expensive groceries have gotten. I am with you on the bread, I too would like to start making our own. That is very good butter, my husband and I love it.
