Fun night for the worst neighbors on earth. Love the Albion PD. They do a great job. This happened at 806 Clinton St. Bad apple on the block. The yard is always covered in trash. Lots of underage kids at this party. About 1am. Morons.

rosewood neck?
@@레오-v2g Yes, rosewood fretboard
In the golden age of studio work, a guy like Tommy might have 4 or 5 gigs in a single day. When he talked about reading music - it was come in, sit down, play, and then go on to the next studio. There was no time for practice and no time for mistakes.
What a wonderful car❤❤
PS. At my age of 65, you provided the sound track of my entire life. From my childhood TV shows such as Bat Man, to the Beach Boys, to Sinatra, on and on and on. You are truly a once in a life time treasure. God bless.
What a great personality. Tommy's whole approach to the industry is so casual, so honest, so earthy that you easily forget that guitar music is the topic of conversation. Guitar aside, I could just sit and listen to him talk about the price of tea in China and it would be an hour wonderfully spent. Oh, by the way, I should also mention that he's a master at his craft.
This guitar actually loks like a 1988 with modified machine heads. That's not a roller nut also: that is supposed to be a brass nut
@@giovannisalaris Ah, good eye! Sorry I missed that.
Flat__--wounds🎉
The documentary " The Wrecking Crew" made me aware of Tommy and co What a talent and what a great character RIP
That's what happens when you spend your welfare check on crack-cocain!!!
Well I guess I'll just have to kick this off!!! If they would just act a little bit more white, they would not have these issues!!! Problem solved!!!
"It didn't feel like nuthin'. We went to work."
Hahahaha. TT was an American treasure!
Great pics! thxs for sharing.
Also in Fernwood 2Night's orchestra, "Happy Kyne and the Mirthmakers!"
Bigger than Hoss!
Met him once. What a treat
Love it, great collection of photos! I'm a musician too, about to release an indie album, have a song about learning how to drive in a 1950 Champion Bullet Nose.
Great story here th-cam.com/video/4X3WuGobeD0/w-d-xo.html
Glenn Campbell was a top studio guitar player before he was known as Glenn Campbell. Didnt read music.
Sure, he was part of the Wrecking Crew but the apex of his career was with Happy Kyne and the Mirthmakers. 😀
There is a music store in the DC suburbs called Chuck Levin's. Seems like during the 60s and 70s any famous musician who happened to be in the area would stop by there, buy some stuff take some pictures etc. The store has pictures all over the place of the famous musicians who have come though.
The Lou albino of the guitar. What a great character. He blessed us with so much. All those tv show music….great little vid.
Ah, how refreshing, the news before everything became hyper-politicized!
_”Batman…who cares!”_
love it
Thanks!
My gramps said " ruined it when they took the Tongue out" ;)
Also the Taylor uses WATCH style batteries for the preamp where the Guild uses a regular 9 vlt ...also the Taylor has an on board tuner and the Guild does not ....BUT tone wise ....for the money especially the Guild wins HANDS DOWN!!!!!
Good playing and sweet guitar. Mario
Thanks!!
My favorite movie theme tune he played was the Bonanza theme. Didn't know he did it until a few years ago. An amazing player, also the ,Fifty Guitars albums. Great.
Tommy has done so much for music and musicians he told it like it is. Great person. RIP Tommy.
Merci for this blast from the past.
This video captures my experience exactly- the Taylor is clearly a more classy build, and sounds OK unplugged. The Guild slaughters it for amplified tone and volume. This is purely subjective, but I preferred the feel of playing the Guild as well.
Batman..duh,duh,duh, duh,......who cares?!? I am still laughing. Go Tommy.
i have a rust-free '51 starlite coupe with 43,000 original miles. love driving the old girl.definitely draws attention.
I drive one of these babys. Baby Blue and pearl white all original. It was a posthumous gift from my grandfather.
Played both basses (plus the Taylor in the koa-version) a few days ago. The Guild is so much more fun to play, better sounding, better pickup system (Taylor used great PU's as well, but the new ones aren't that nice). On top of that, the Guild costs half the price of the Taylor here in Germany.
I liked the feel of the Guild too, the neck.
Thanks for posting- these are all beautiful and futuristic !!!!!
Ok....but what does it taste like? 😹🤓
Tommy was a musical genius
Thanks for the video. I had heard of this method. Nice to actually see and hear your method. I will do this if need be.
I have a 1947 Capitol Johnny Mercer Uncle Remus 3 record 78 set, and I kept them in the book which caused the edges to bend on all of them during storage, because of the shape of the book\box set cover. I’m really excited to see if this method works to fix them, because they are unplayable right now, they caused the needle to jump off the record. I do remember they were perfectly flat when I first got them. Now my job is going to be finding the perfect flat surface to be able to put in the oven
Gramps had one..as a kid couldn't tell which way was forward;)
They ruined them when they took the Tongue out!! ;)
I was a little kid in 1948 and I remember seeing the Studebaker ads in my grandad's National Geopgraphic magazines.
Thank you for the review. What about them compared unplugged?
Sorry, I don't work there anymore, and this video is several years old.
Wow! Thanks Buddy! I got mine 4 days ago……J’adore!! 👍🏼
God I wish …!!! I was born 30 years too late !!!
Gonna try this tonight. Hope it works. Thanks
have a taylor gs mini bass. nice to play and great sound! like this bass.
The Taylor is a really solid bass. But, the Guild sounded great too. For everyone insulting the instruments, remember, the tone all comes from your fingers, and the way that you play. I let the strings on my Taylor age and gunk up, put a string mute on it, play it with my fingers, and sounds great.
Solid advice. Thanks!
