Scuba Diving SAS Goodhope Shipwreck - Smitswinkel Bay, Cape Town
After a naming mistake on the previous video, loads of viewers requested to see what the SAS Goodhope really looks like.
The crew at Ollava was more then happy to have us drop down right on top of the real SAS Goodhope.
See for yourself,
Enjoy.

After a cold , deep wreck dive the morning , we decided to go out to Atlantis Reef. Clear Viz and ample marine life made this an amazing experience. We were also privileged enough to see a Sun fish ! definitely a site to go explore if you have not done so yet.

Please note : Video states Goodhope incorrectly Another stunning dive with amazing visibility. We were doubting what conditions would be down under after running into a huge Fog bank. Lucky for us, once we passed the 18 m mark, every started opening up and what a great dive it turned out to be. Thanks to my Dive buddies on this trip: Chris and Rudy from Ollava Where to next ?

a Cool and cloudy Saturday morning blessed us with a cold, yet stunning dive with amazing visibility. a Ray hovered above us as we came out of a little gorge and we spotted a poor die-heart diver that paddled along with one fin. Fun dive guys! Florin , Eddie, Marna and myself, Gunther
What is the depth of the wreck?
My late dad served on this mine sweeper in the 2nd world war. Most of all he came home. It was decommissioned and sunk after it's life spent doing it's duty.
Is this only accessible by boat or is it possible by canoe or swimming out?
No white sharks?
Diving in False Bay is highly recommended, with plenty of shipwrecks to explore, including the SAS Pietermaritzburg (formerly named HMS Pelorus, the ship that lead the Normandy landing during WW II) and corals to take photos of. th-cam.com/video/jRnHdvcgBbo/w-d-xo.html All footage shot with GoPRo 3+ / 4 Silver. Enjoy and like/subscribe! :)
