@@janeehhan2432 I am a student of the Kelly era and I can assure you this book is based on another book written by Ian Jones, a pro-Kelly author who made up a huge amount of fictitious rubbish about Ned Kelly. Let me correct a few of the errors. 1. Red Kelly found and killed a calf, not a cow. He was found in possession of the calf skin. He was NOT taken to gaol by the police. He was brought before a court and fined £25. There is no record of Red Kelly ever being in any gaol in Victoria. 2. Ellen Kelly died aged 91, not 93. 3. Ned Kelly was NOT put in prison by the police. He was brought before a court and sentenced to three months on two counts. He was gaoled for 6 months. 4. Wild Wright was charged with illegal use of a horse, not stealing the horse. Ned Kelly knew the horse was stolen and discussed selling the horse for profit with a colleague, James Murphy, who gave evidence against Ned Kelly. A jury of 12 men found him guilty, and he sentenced to gaol for 3 years. He was released after 2.5 years. 5. There is no record anywhere that George King was involved in stealing horses. He was never listed as a suspect by police, and the only reference was made by Ned Kelly, himself. I could go on and on with this fiction, but I think you will get the message from what I have written. It is a load of fictitious nonsense.
