I tried yoga but the day after a session I was always stiff and sore and therefore I stopped going. I see no point in inflicting pain on myself...doesn't make any sense to do that.

I have been living on and off in India for 5 years. There are so many yoga schools but to find the good ones, the ones that actually walk thr walk and talk the talk is very rare. It is very important to do your research and look at reviews. It can be the most incredible experience at the same time it can be awful too.

The reason I don't do yoga is that I find it sooooooo boring which just winds me up and makes me angry.

I just joined my very first Yoga class last week. I just had my second training and it feels very good. But there were also definitely thinks I was conscious about that required some overcoming. First you are entering a yoga class where you meight be the only guy and you don't know how this will be recieved (If there are women reading this, please feel free to share how you feel about this :)). Than if you never did Yoga before you'll probably be very bad at it at first. So you are not fit or maybe even overweight and you are exposing these weaknesses to group of women. I think this is the worst scenario for any man out there because we are kinda build this way that we don't like to show our weaknesses at all and especially in this context. Anyway I think it is worth to overcome these barriers, which probably only exists in our head when you can therefore do something that benefits your body and your health.

Hot yoga has been a great recovery tool! I disagree that yoga has everything- I’ve tried a variety of classes, and not found anything that would replace my resistance and endurance training- but its certainly improved my body awareness, mobility, strength in certain positions, and recovery between harder training sessions. Give it a shot my fellow men
