Tx a &. M football Interview
A rarity!
Even back then the NU 'O' line couldn't protect the QB - but @ least we had 1 that could scramble!
As great as this man's work was in the option, his work between the tackles was more impressive. He was a true all purpose back. Too bad he couldn't get his life straight
Criminals are always 1-step ahead! Really, great player - tragic life end.
Hoss
The NU blows it anyway.
We won that game.

Jersey #15 is just a great number for Huskers throughout our storied history: -QB Vince Ferragamo ('75-'77) -QB "Touchdown Tommie" Frazier ('92-'95) -DB Alfonzo Dennard ('08-'11) -WR De'Mornay Piersen-El ('14-'17) and future Husker greats: -QB Dylan Raiola ('24-?) OR -WR Malachi Coleman ('23-?) OR -DB Tamon Lynum ('23-?) OR -CB Ceyair Wright ('24-?) Any other Jersey #15 players through the years that are near-and-dear to your hearts, Husker fans??? ❤🌽🏈😎👍🔥🔥🔥🔥
Let the play finish good grief

Was that Matt LaFluer??
That was Bill LaFleur, Husker punter.
A great player and an even better person!

Hey Steve with the “I just crapped by pants whiny face”, you weren’t playing Florida Voc-Tech A&M Glee Club were you? Couldn’t run up the score and put 70 points on the board could you? Can’t tell you how glad we were when Nebraska kicked your ass up and down the field.
This woman blathering on as Phillips is in the middle of a great run 😡 Get rid of these sideline bimbos, they aren't needed! Except for Holly Rowe of course. 😁
Steve Spurrier was throwing a fucking FIT during this game LOL
My cousin played that night at CB for the Gators as a freshman. He said after that loss, “If we played them 10 times, they would have beaten them all each time.” Keep in mind Ahman Green was the backup to Lawerence Phillips. I’m a Gator fan but you have to give credit to Nebraska.
My favorite Rams player
New Subscriber! Would love to have you on to talk Huskers gentlemen.
Looked like a lot of Gators wanted no part of Phillips.
They turned tackling off in the 2nd half of that game
What a waste of carbon.
So many great observations here. I do think Nebraska fans are just built differently too. Flying through the Denver airport yesterday I saw a guy with a Nebraska football hat on. I said to him go big red and with most college programs that generates a return comment of some kind. This guy stopped and then asked me. What are you looking for during the spring game Saturday? We proceeded to talk about how important the offensive line is how we were hoping to establish the ground game much better which would take the pressure off Dylan, etc. to be able to sling the ball…. 10 minutes later I walked away shaking my head, saying to myself. “It’s a scrimmage. I can’t believe we just talked about technique for a scrimmage.”
Field goal block 🙃
NIL is good, but the experience also has value. If you go to a place that has a plan for you to maximize your potential, that is not as visible but also worth considering. Idk if young men see that as clearly, but they do see the value when they are a part of it. They see themselves and their teammates getting better every week. Idk if Nebraska has the best player development team, but the players seem to like it and all the details that go into it. Year 2: Well, see how the team looks.
Aside: fellow Gator fans scoffed at me when I predicted that Fred Taylor would be better than Lawrence Phillips.
To be fair Phillips was a great player who didn’t have his head on straight. If he stayed clean and didn’t go psycho he might have been. Fred Taylor was an amazing RB himself. This from a Husker fan
If only he made it to the NFL
infamous : having a reputation of the worst kind : notoriously evil Is being infamous always a bad thing? Infamous has a small range of meanings, and none of them are ones that most people would care to be described with. It may mean "notoriously evil," "disgraceful," or "convicted of an offense bringing infamy" (infamy is "evil reputation brought about by something grossly criminal, shocking, or brutal").
Husk guys: “if you tweet or post about politics you’re unfollowed and blocked.” >invites on a politician
Great interview you guys!
Man these were the days! Beautiful foot was Nebraskas offense. I enjoyed Frost, Crouch, Frazier and others. Gets college qbs and fun to watch
Big time!
Infamous, huh? To quote Inigo Montoya, “You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.”
Exactly!
That wasn't a punt BTW
Crouch was no joke back then.
Husker fans are not the brightest. Martinez was rhe best quarterback they have ever had. Imagine what he would have done with the pipeline?
Taylor Martinez sucks at passing 101
