Super good, I'm installing one, and I'm not sure, where is this red cable connected from?

What are the size for the breast fittings
Hey, what did you end up doing with the vacuum lines that come out the distributor ??
Where can I buy it and under what name can I find it? I have seen the same ones but for the b16 and I think they are not the same I need one of those for my D16
Help! I watched the video before swapping out my carburetor. I took out the vacuum lines indiscriminately and now I have no vacuum for the 3 vacuum lines that connect to the distributor. I see that there is a vacuum port on the carburetor… Not sure what to do. Convert the distributor to mechanical advance? What did you do?
Does any have a link to where i can buy the rebuikd kit for this. Iv search and cant find it. I have the 35f a000 transmission. 97 d16y7 trans.
Hey man i brought the same K740 kit for my 16 valve 4AF engine do you know what size air correctors and main primary and secondary keys are on urs?
Mine has a leak near the speed sensor I have no idea where it comes from the mechanic told me that it comes from the oil seal inside but I can't imgagine that the oil is leaking from the outside near the speed sensor of the tranmission. I wanted to send some pic but I cannot make or private message you. Please help. Thank you so much.
I like how you installed the transmission. I have some problem with mine i hope you can help me out.
Thanks. Need to change worn out bearings. It's not so complicated
Havin trouble with taking the gears out
Could you share the information on where to get the synchronizers, I would greatly appreciate the help. I subscribed.
Great car I've owned three last generation Tercels the last two people destroyed driving recklessly. I've drove in many of the older ones many of my friends growing up couldn't afford fancy cars. Oh the places the Tercel has taken us one of Toyotas best cars.
I know this video is 3 years old but where did you get the seal driver tools?
カローラⅡの、兄弟車が、海外では、現役で走っているのですね!!今となれば、希少価値なので、大切に維持していって下さいね!!
I'm doing this job right now and my final drive bolts came out looking a little like yours, with the top of the threaded part a little stressed. Is it okay to re-use them?? Or should I break down and get new ones?
Thanks for the video man, shows me some details that other youtubers didn't explain.. My big question is (hopefully the wording is correct) when you are installing the gear stacks, do you need to have the transmission in neutral? Not only where the shift linkage goes but the stacks themselves..? idk maybe there is only one way for the gear stacks and forks to be lined up when it goes back together and the case is sealed up? I just find that when I have everything lined up and put back together, I can go thru the gears and spin the input shaft but when I get to 4th gear the selector ring (on the gear stack) doesn't want to fully go up and into 4th gear.. Sorry this is hard to explain when I barely know what's going on in this damn thing lmao
man you are very talented
nice very nice information
Love these cars
Are the synchros for the y7 the same as the y8? I’m trying to find the rebuild kit and they all say ex but I assume they are the same internally except for the gear teeth count.. any help would be appreciated 😅
Damn slime you a pro (young thug voice) lol
Where did you get the print out instructions for this?
That's your ass when Mom sees that blanket lol
haha she approved this rebuild!
So it's been awhile, what kind of performance did you get? My friend is having low power issues on a newly rebuilt engine. Has a weber from a Celica on it. Not sure what the CFM is, but says it's under powered and running rich.
My 99 civic has a serious transmission fluid leak in between the engine and transmission. Where would it be coming from?
you sure its not motor oil coming from the rear main seal?
@@slimesspeedshoptv It is 100%transmission fluid.
manual or auto trans?@@marklance033

still waiting for the part2 :)
been motivated lately to finish it.....
This is beautiful to watch, the music is perfect. New subscriber from Meru county in Kenya
Space age magical pimping 💯💨
Is the unshielded side of the bearing not meant to go towards the diff?
I'm doing this job currently and got new diff bearings for the job. The new ones are unshielded, but the ones that came off are shielded. I'm guessing Honda updated the design and the shielding isn't *really* necessary. The whole thing sits in trans fluid all the time anyways.
Nice
TY!
and then.... he gave up doing videos
pretty much.
@@slimesspeedshoptv why though, as im pretty sure you continued filming the process. Or did you literally stop filming at that point
I have the motor halfway put together... tons of film on my laptop. Life gets in the way and got tired of editing.... these comments make me wanna get back on it though!@@Mathewmartialart
Where does the hose on top of valve cover go?
What's the size of the plug you guys used near the front of the manifold. Having trouble finding a plug. Thanks.
I removed it and went down to my local hardware store,, was a typical NPT fitting size was easy to find!
Just picked up a 1982 Toyota Tercel. Carb looks like rats been chewing on it. Could find a good diagram for the endless vacuum hoses. Found your video and ordered a Weber. Just hoping I can get it installed correctly. 😅
What size was that bolt that went into the exhaust side of the EGR?I went to every hardware store locally and can’t find what I need =[
Found a drain plug that worked! M20 x 1.5
Hey, you happen to know the size for the other plug on the manifold? @@allentang8033
should be a regular metric size,, we have tacoma screw over here so I went there!
hit dat follow when i heard that mac 🤌🏼
yezzzzzzziiirrrrr !!!!
have the same engine and same weber 3236, can you tell me how much turns for the misture, and turns for the idle needle
gonna have to play with it, your elevation will affect the turns slightly
The mixture is supposed to be set to 1 and half or 1 and 3 quarters when seated
Nice work really clean
Part number for the axle seals ?
Where did you get your synchro set? I am looking for those
What year Honda did this transmission come off of? and What's the difference on the other Desires transmission s...?? Thanks!
I'm thinking of getting a 2004 Altezza with the Beams engine. Is it reliable, parts easily available?
the parts are available no doubt, if I were to do this over again id honestly go K series. Not that much info on the BEAMS out there compared to Hondas
Damn where is part 2
damn y'all really want it??
@@slimesspeedshoptv i mean what was the fucking point of doing this video, if you had zero intentions of doing any other videos in the past 2 years, and then your shocked that people actually want to see the so called disassembly of the engine
